Boodabooda may not be the leader TEST needs, but he is the leader TEST deserves. :D

I hope they reform and find fun gudfites instead of mindnumbing sov battles.

DingoGS leaving TEST, one of the better bomber FCs in the game and strat Ops directors. Fun fact: Him leaving TEST marks the rate at which TEST helps someone get a Titan or super only to have them leave alliance now equals about 100%.

Not much new news other than that. Cites poor TEST leadership, inexperience from Booda and getting shit on by other leadership and Alliance despite doing actual competent work to hold TEST together.

So I forgot who was the TEST guy that argued with me saying that taking Delve moons back from PIZZA would take a few dreads and 5 minutes... You guys got spanked hard.

EDIT:

You're joking, right? Taking moons from PIZZA is like taking candy from a baby, 5 minutes and a ping for dreads twice in two days cleans up all the mess. In fact, we're starting that already. The moons will be no issue.

lol. Like, you guys literally cannot hold r64 moons a single jump from all your capitals. Let me make my advice more clear since you didn't listen - taking those moons back from PIZZA will take more than 5 minutes and a few dreads because if you decide to use some dreads willynilly against PIZZA who is best buddies with BL, BL is going to make sure you don't have any dreads within 5 minutes.

http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=22674

TEST forms up to shoot PIZZA pos, PIZZA & friends drop dreads on them, BL sprang a rapecamp on the system and TEST, who spazzflailed to save their capitals a single bridge-jump from their staging system. 23+ TEST caps lost & 350+ subcap in support fleets for 4 BL caps and ~80 subcaps.

Also Kurator and corp left TEST, as well as some others. Baki's kind of terrible so who knows if he's going to stay with TEST or not.

I kind of hope Dreddit/TEST casts off the shackles of sov to reform without most of the terribads.

Nah, rule #1 is only fly what you could afford to lose.
Rule #2: Consider it lost as soon as you undock.

Finding a good corp is key to enjoying the game though. Spend some time researching though. Don't jump into something too soon.

Yes. It's highly recommended that you do all the tutorial missions, as besides teaching you the basics, they will give you loads of skillbooks, ships, and a couple million isk to get you started off.

The scanning effect on entering a system is a cosmic anomaly that you can check out. You used to have to manually scan for them but they changed it to be automatic.

When you just start creating a character, the race of your character isn't that important. It changes how your character looks, where in the eve universe you start, and gives you a few hours head start in that race's frigate skill.

The more important thing is to decide which race's ships to dabble/train in, because that will affect your skill training and play style immediately.

Caldari - Mainly missile weapons, some railguns, and shield tanked. Ships look the most "terran" in other spaceship games. Known for being the capitalistic space jew race. Because of their reliance on missiles and their mechanics, they're the favourite race among PvE players, but less favoured for pvp (besides ECM). Hate Gallente, and to a lesser extent Minmatar. Allied with Amarr.

Amarr - Heavy brick armour tank, pewpew laser weapons which don't use ammo but are heavy on capacitor usage. Known for being the fanatic-religious slaver race with giant golden dildo ships. Hate Minmatar the most, and Gallente. Allied with Caldari. In the current "meta", their capital ships are the most favoured.

Gallente - Freedom loving space frenchies with a hard-on for drones. They mainly armor tank and use hybrid turrets like blasters and railguns and send their space drone minions to mess with people. Their ships are blue-greenish freaks of nature. Hate Caldari and Amarr. Allied with Minmatar.

Minmatar - Alpha race. Winmatar. Previously slaves to Amarr, the Minmatar won their independence after a bloody war. Minmatar use projectiles in the form of autocannons and artillery, which do a ridiculous amount of damage at once (alpha damage). Projectile ammo can also be selected to deal greater damage to resist holes, which combined with playing smart, can severely reduce the amount of damage your enemy can tank before they explode. Combine this with Minmatar ships superior speed and you have the race often chosen by solo and small gang pirates, gankers, hardcore pvpers, and alpha-fleet doctrines (in which a large fleet firing at once vaporizes an enemy ship in one volley before logistics can save them). Minmatar ships can be armor or shield tanked, and to fly well are notorious for taking longer training time. But they aren't jokingly called Winmatar for no reason. The downside? If you don't like it, their ships literally look like garbage. Rusted scrapheaps and solar panels with guns and engines attached. Some people like the junky aesthetic however, and to this day many Eve players love to recall their first Rifter - the Minmatar iconic frigate. Hate Amarr/Caldari, allied with Gallente.

I fly all the races but you could probably tell I'm biased. Minmatar - Winmatar.

To be fair to TEST, TEST can't really failcascade because failcascading is their usual modus operandi.

They'll shed some people and maybe even lose delve but Dreddit will just go stomp all over some poor suckers. And they'll continue being a feeder corp for PL and keep handing them free supers like they have been for a while now.

New news...

Beffah - TEST former mildir, Ingen Kerr - TEST former interim supreme leader/mildir, India99 - TEST newly-promoted logistics director alleged to have ran off with ~350 billion~ in alliance contracts.

Now all members of Snigg in PL - less than one day.

There's a number of others who have jumped ship too, but well... Time to guess who India99 is an alt of. Ingen Kerr are said to have not taken anything from TEST, well - Beffah took her titan/supers that TEST pretty much paid for... And who is left in TEST that will actually tell you what is left?

You're incredibly mistaken if you think TEST isn't getting played by someone. *cough* PL/Former TEST directors *cough*

But yeah, I uhm, called it before they were all confirmed to join PL. ^  ^

EDIT: Aerallo's leaving now too - uncertain where yet. Beffah had an offer to join Goons. She declined but is posting on SA/Kugu about her experience leaving TEST.

EDIT2: Aerallo trolling TEST about joining PIZZA after his departure thread states 'no drama'.

It's hard not to sound smug when every time I've given TEST my advice and my perspective I've been shit on by their members for being 'wrong' when I'm either inevitably or immediately proven correct.

I should have my alt apply to be one of TEST's mildirs.

Everything of what you tell me is wrong is only based on your opinion and TEST heresay. Let me give you a hint, NC. didn't need to deal with SOLAR right away, neither did ALL of PL need to be away for a tournament in which a few of their dudes participated.

I don't feel like engaging you in a TEST forumpost quote war, but rather we can just let the current ongoings and TEST's performance and the words of it's former directors and actions of their "allies" speak for themselves.

Like honestly, none of us want to go near your line members or diplos, if you want to call them that.

Also a signifigant number of TEST FCs and mildir did leave for PL... just Richter is the most vocal about TEST being a terrible alliance that prides itself on being terrible. :P

Also, I can't go without mentioning... We were all wondering why TEST mildir was going batshit insane and timing AUTZ while their core AU defense fleet N3/PL members left - against the most sov-grind-happy alarm-clocking corp/alliance/coalition in the game - and expecting it to end well.

Turns out Beffah was gone. So that explained a lot - and then after that tussle you guys effectively fired your last competent mildir. She was so pissed about you guys ceding PNQY and failing to have sane timer contests that she started rageposting all over kugu and SA.

Quote
[12:01:38 AM] Beffah: YOU STUPID FUCKS
[12:01:41 AM] Beffah: ARE THROWING AWAY
[12:01:46 AM] Beffah: THE PNQY STATION ARMOR TIMER
[12:01:49 AM] Beffah: ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID
[12:02:57 AM] Beffah: HOLY JESUS FUCKING BATSHIT BATMAN

Hmm, I'm wrong - but I called the Fountain War correctly. Seems like I win.

We'll see about Delve and TEST. ;)

Number 1: I'm not CFC, I'm just an outside observer on how literally dumb TEST has been for most of the campaign.

Here's the thing buddy, there's a reason people fly with CFC - it's because, god forbid, CFC treats each of their member alliances as equals and brothers in arms. The Corps Diplomatique split up war and sov gains pretty fairly based on member participation.

You want to know why this war really started? From a non-CFC/TEST diplo source? TEST and CFC were on good terms, but TEST slowly grew to hang out with PL more. CFC helped TEST gain Fountain and Delve in the last war, and this was a nice gesture as the region wasn't too space-rich or space-poor. Then Asakai happened, and TEST sided with PL. Odyssey happened, and with the moon goo restructuring TEST found themselves on extremely lucrative space. CFC tried to broker a deal with TEST to even out the r64 income in the region as CFC helped TEST take Fountain, and TEST not only told CFC to fuck off, but they posted the secret diplo logs all over kugu and the internet to further their propaganda of "grr goons". That's why now those of us in diplo joke about TEST "literally believing autism to be a legitimate diplomatic strategy", TEST will burn their diplos, allies, and any relations just to prove their propaganda pieces. And that is why TEST doesn't have any friends besides poor TRIBE, PL (a mercenary alliance) and N3 - with obviously trustworthy NC. who backstabbed over OTEC.

Don't try to fool anyone with the Fountain only having 24 r64 moons line. Everyone knew Delve and Fountain would turn into some of the most space-rich regions in the game due to :ccp shenanigans:. And we all showed up to survey Fountain, which is why you have the Dotlan report I posted. It's all independently verifiable, and the CFC reports were posted as well.

If anything, TEST is just a PL pet right now. With members like Baki Yuku literally feeding TEST Delve moon income into himself or PL... And I wonder if it'll ever come to light why the rogue director of this logistics contracts theft wasn't booted for at least 4 days, and now he's in PL.
