Welcome to Virgin Island. Each and everone one of you were plucked from your times and dropped on an island. What reason isn't quite clear, though many messages left behind on the island could be found say that if you successfully take over the Main Generator on the other side of Virgin Island, you will be allowed to go home. There are also messages that say great power awaits the winners.

The main thing are three. First, the Main Generator on your side provides power, enough to work with electronics, though it is limited. Second, is that those that die wake up nearby the Generator itself in a flash of light. Third, this island is not kind to humans, no matter your era.

Build up your arms from what you can gather around you and take control of the other Generator. Be warned though that there is undoubtedly another side you will have to face eventually.

Welcome, Brave People. I'll cut to the chase. We're hungry, if not thirsty, and have limited supplies to create with. And the tablets all over this 'Island' are in many languages. They all seem to say there is another generator on the other side though, so I'll need you to put your heads together and create some designs if we are to win this twisted game.

Turn 0 Objectives

Create a Census. This is effectively Lore of your people, scattered as it may be. The best Lore at the end of this turn will win a Research Credit, good for 1 extra die, with the highest 2 of the dice rolled being used. Resource Credits Stack, each granting an extra die. However, they don't affect Designs aiming to acquire a Special Resource (and use it). Note you will also need to come up with a name.

2 Designs. 1 Design for Infrastructure, 1 Normal Design. The side with a better Infrastructure Design will earn a Scouting Credit, good only for the pregame turns. Scouting Credits can be used to discover 1 of the three lanes adjacent to a known area, which all are obscured currently. They will be revealed as you close in on the first combat report anyway, but knowing the land ahead of time has some advantage.

3 Revisions. These revisions can be used to create new things as well from old, with a relaxed difficulty curb.

Report of Findings. This is effectively an overall view of your first turn. It will also include your next turn's objectives.

Ore represents metals. Wood, natural resources. Oil, oils and chemicals, along with propellants. And Power comes from the Generator.
Designs that require Power are typically Infrastructure. The more you have, the more Infrastructure you can keep active. Some Infrastructures don't cost Power, some cost 2 or 3.

Welcome to an experimental game. The rules are a bit lax, but I'll go over the basics.

This world is one in which Dungeon Cores are born from Mana. The Dungeon Cores go on to instinctively open to the surface and grow deeper. They also tend to become very deadly over time, luring in Adventures to take their treasures, and killing them to improve themselves.

If you've read a Dungeon Core Story, you probably know the basics.

So, how does one play?

First is probably how you start off. When starting off, you have to pick 1 Monster Race as your primary race. You will receive a Basic Template that you can use MP to summon. You can vote on any normal fantasy monster, or more mundane choices should you choose.

Actions you can take.

  • Expand your Dungeon: This usually takes the form of absorbing soil to create either corridors and rooms. This does cost 1 MP for 1-tile corridors, and 3 MP for 1-tile rooms.
  • Create Monsters: Use MP to create monsters from your Templates List.
  • Create Traps: Once you have some Traps, you can create some from your Template List for the cost of MP.
  • Order Monsters: This is a free action. You can set where your monsters will be, or any actions to take.
  • Expand: In some cases, you may come across places that are hollow or empty of earth. In this case, you can claim them for half the cost it would take to create that space from earth. It is possible to expand outside, though this has some bad tidings for your future.

As a newborn Dungeon Core, these are your stats.

Quote
Name of Dungeon: None.
MP: 10/10
MP Regen: 10 per day.
DP: 0
Infamy: None yet.
Monster Templates: Choose 1.
Trap Templates: None.

Note that each turn, you can also choose to research a new trap or monster evolution, (among other things) for DP. DP is earned by defeating intruders and absorbing them. Turns pass by performing actions, followed by a passage of time until your MP is refilled.

Note that monsters and traps cost MP Regen to upkeep. Falling below 0 MP Regen is typically a bad thing. However, absorbing stuff refills MP, and you can increase both your regen and MP by expanding your dungeon and gaining new floors.

Please note this may or may not work out by the way.

Also, in the case of designing new traps or monster evolution, (or new actions altogether), 2d4 will be rolled, ala an AR. And as your Infamy increases, so will the challenges you face.

So, for this turn 0, pick an Environment you start in, a Monster Race(With description/links to it), and we will get started. Note it is in fact possible to die while you are asleep, so be somewhat careful with your MP.

Standoff: Or a JoJo's Bizarre Deathmatch

Otherwise known as that one idea Fal never finishes. This, is Standoff.

Effectively, you submit a song to me, and I create a stand from it. First three to post in and send the song get in. The battle ends once 1 Stand-User is left Standing.

Effectively, a light version. Actions in Spoilers please. Note that your battle location will be random by way of Google Luck.

Likewise, a Discord. Tricky Business is open.
Note this is effectively a light form of fun for me. So please post at least once every two days. Likewise, don't be mad if the dice/RNG don't go your way.

Also discord for those who aren't in the game, but want to discuss. As well as the players, but they can't see the discussion channel till they die.

Good Luck in the Standoff, Stand-users.

Gods' Torment On These Amusing Playthings

Date is unknown. These Gods, are quite bored. So, they've decided to make some playthings. And in some cases, outright steal them from their own reality.

Not like this could go wrong. After all, they're just Mortal.

The Gods like to play Games. Also, an experiment in a way. To Rules, both House, and not.

Player's Handbook v2.1
Discord Server for Bay12 FEF

You all start as First Class.

Now, Blossom, Maturity, & Weapon Saver can not be picked.

In addition, new skills to choose from. As well as cost boosts to some old ones.
Spoiler: New Skills (click to show/hide)

Finally, for a 30% Progression Cost, you can pick a Second Personal Skill other than your chosen one, so long as it's Free.

As to who can join.. I won't be picking those who are already in a Game. The Party Limit is also 4. Don't expect too much story, as you are their Playthings, so as DM, I'll be throwing you into Maps for them. This is mostly a game for fun.

Exp Growth is set to Very Fast, and you get a Level whenever you complete a Map. Try not to die though, lest others take your place as their Playthings. Good Luck, and have Fun.

Side Note, Deadline isn't, could be a day, more likely to be a Week. Or Friday, first come is a rule if I end up with enough.

Most Likely Monday though, This Monday for Sign-ups to close.

Solei: a Story of the Gods

A new Story begins, the old Gone from the world. An empty void, an eternal darkness, waiting to be filled.

And so, the Six to answer The Golden Figure's Call, were brought forth to this desolate Canvas proper.

Illuminated by Solei's Light

The First to Answer, threads torn upon the Canvas, was Acter Nobody. The Second, Zelthen, so similar to Solei in appearance if not height, not far behind.

Gilgama, one of Roses and War, Hair bound in long braids, then appeared to Answer. And then Another, whom's name cannot be Translated upon these Threads.

Fifth, a Machine, Answered near too late, and Sixth, a Unique one, Abdasam, God of the Dead.

Three Others from Beyond, Two Ascendant Gods, and 1 Great One.

From the First Weave of the Void Era's End.

Cycle 1: The End of the Void

Darkness moves, and Light is spilled forth from the Groups' arrival.

"Sorry about that. Anyway, welcome to my Universe. Bit empty at the moment, isn't it.'

Putting her hands behind her back, she says,

"As a gift to you all for accepting, I'll go ahead and set you up to the Source. Though you will likely need to work together to make anything quickly."

She shrugs.

"Or you could just make a bunch of smaller stuff instead. Your choice, so long as you make this empty Void go away."

Putting a finger up to her mouth and tilting her head, she leaves you with some parting words...

"Feel free to come over and ask me any questions you need to back there. I'll be waiting."

And with that, the Darkness folds in on her, leaving a small distortion in space leading back to the Waiting Room.

39
As you arrive following the trail of essence, you find nothing but an endless void and a small girl of Golden Light.

Hmm.. "Seems like some interesting beings have arrived. I, Solei, welcome you all to what is left of my Universe."

I- Introduction

Everyone, hello and welcome to this God Game! In a little twist, I the GM will rarely speak in OOC. Ideally, this little speech should be the only time I do. For the remainder of the game, I will be assuming the role of Solei, your host and universe.

As you probably guessed, most of this is from Nakéen, who I got permission from. Though there are a few other little changes to the rules. Not many though.

II- Setting

"A time ago, I was created. The Flux existed for the Titans to use to build. And they did. However, in their Arrogance, they destroyed all that the others wrought, eventually ending up destroying everything else, including each other. And barely a drop of flux left over."

"Honestly, if you hadn't actually answered, I probably would have died in an eternity or two."

The Golden Figure of Light shrugs.

"Anyway, since you are here to hopefully create stuff, why don't I go over some rules I spent my time waiting thinking up, as well as an overview for those of you who have not yet lived enough to know some of this. As well as all the old relics around I fixed up."

III. Rules and Mechanics

"Well, now for a few Rules. It's mainly to prevent you lot from accidentally harming me by going overboard. Let's start with the Golden Rule."

I can change rules on the fly! I will try not to, as it would be a headache.

Spoiler: Prophecies (click to show/hide)

IV. Supplements: Sheets and Miscellaneous stuff

"Your application form. It feels like I'm hiring someone. Well, I am in some way right? (...) Yeah, I totally am. And for "interior design". That's a bit depressing for some reason."

"Ah well."

"The following sheets are there to help you and me. Please use them."

Current Gods in Universe

The War of Darkness.

Grima, through a last ditch effort, has thrown the timeline into disarray.
It's Heroes have been scattered amidst a roiling world of darkness, with no end.

It's Hero-King, Blessed by Naga, has been sealed away, and Grima's power begins to run unchecked.

The World falls into the Twilight of Death.

In all this however, Hope Remains, in those few Brave Souls,
To Fight, to Return to the World of the Living,
To free the Hero-King from the Chains which Bind them.

And to Reclaim their Futures.

Am I crazy enough. I think so..

Fire Emblem Signups are open. And unlike my other game that is starting, This one is...

Actually, not so different, it's still pretty out of the norm. So let us go down the list.

First, this game will not have much continuity to it.. That's shot all the way to Hel... Second, I am focused on the other game, so no Lord. Unless you count Naga occasionally popping up with a projection to lead you on your way. Third, this is a Prequel... In case it wasn't obvious enough, it takes place around 1000 years before Awakening. And Fourth, Railroading is a thing.. If only cause of space and time being completely messed up in addition to being in the World of the Dead.

As for Number of Slots, let's go with 8. Good, even, and all you are getting.

In addition, you can choose your affinities. In subtraction, there can only be one of each type, and Heaven and Earth are not choices.

Please note that I will only choose someone who fills this sheet to specification.(In other words, to make Pasting it easy on me. Please do not use links as your sign-up.)

Player's Handbook v2.1

You all start as Trainees.

Other than that, a few extras,

The Reaper
A Reaper of Death seeking the restoration of normal order. You are unfortunately not part of that.

The Reaper has only one weapon, the Scythe. Their movement is not obstructed by obstacles, and their Move Range can vary. They also receive no buffs or debuffs from terrain. Ailments do in fact work on them, but they can't be killed by Ailments alone. A PC has to deal the final strike.
As a note, their stats are 30 across the board, including their HP. They have no Con/Aid, And their Move Range in the early game will never surpass 3. Reap is their Character Skill, allowing them to Kill a Downed Character..

Death System
If a PC's HP drops to 0, they receive an injury. Receive 3, and you die.
I am also using the Overkill System.
Overkill System : Taking damage can reduce you beneath zero HP, which activates the down counter. Healing while downed is not halved.

If your Down Counters(of which you have 3), fall to 0, you die.

As a warning, The Reaper Prioritizes Downed Characters, and those with the least Injuries. If the reaper can reach a downed PC, it will Reap that character, killing you.

Of Course.. So long as any of your 8 party members remain alive, so do you. At the end of the map, you will revive. This basically means there won't be replacements...

Supporting Soul
Once Supports are unlocked, a dead character can pass on a stat boost according to their Combined C Rank Affinities. These actually stack, so the more Supports a player has, the more options become available.
If for example, 1 character has a Support with the other 7, they could gain the power of all the affinities. Likewise, if a Ice Affinity dies and passes it along to a Wind Support, their Bonus is Wind+Ice. If said character dies, they can be split to another 2, or 1 they share a support with, like the Anima Character. That becomes Anima+Wind+Ice. This also stacks with a Support the Anima Character has with another Affinity Character, so those remain active.

Naga's Guidance
Should the entire party die, you have one last option. You can reset the battlefield to a previous time, at any part of the turn. Note that this only works once, and you don't actually start off with this ability, it will be till a bit into the story that your party gains it.
All memories are retained IC, as well as any EXP and Levels you had gained up to that point. Your Weapon/Item QL and Injury/Down/Ailment Statuses remain the same as the time you rewound to.
Any Permanent Stat Booster you had used returns back to the inventory where it was, with the stat it boosted returned to normal.

Note this can only be used once per battle, and in some areas, will be locked. On the other hand, there is one thing you can change.. The Reaper can be reverted to any tile it had passed, regardless of when it was on that tile. This can even change the objective of escape maps entirely.

If everyone ends up Dying, that's it, Game Over. There is no final hurrah, no heroes at the last moment to save you.

Grima Wins, and the World Dies.

No pressure or anything.

As a side note, looking for Co-GM, or DM I suppose.. Mostly for Combat-Rolling purposes, though I wouldn't say no to maps either if they want.

Please Note that I appear to be insane-ish... This is is no way my main thing, but it's stuck in my head.
I would also recommend more Veteran players, given I(Grima) won't be going easy on you.
I've Set the Exp Slider to fast as well, so you'll level up quickly at least.

And the GM Book I'm using for good measure.

"Completely Insane", the GM mumbles as they post this.

Spoiler: Royal Revelations (click to show/hide)

Fun Fact, I was running it, and lost the first 2 bits.

I also can't trade for meatshielding, so these first parts, before the branch of Fate, aren't going to fit.. I wonder why thats a thing..

Well, this game has us with a ton of characters, but we can only use those of dragon blood.
In other words, we are limited to.. 10, I think. We also get 6 Children units. No prizes for guessing who.

Rules:

Rule 1: Royals only.
Rule 2: No deaths. Deaths mean a reset.
Rule 2a: This only applies to the royals, the others get meatshield duty.
Rule 2b: Only applies after the Branch of Fate. Mostly cause the game does not want me to be able to trade. I'll still do my best to only kill with royals though.

Now, on whit the First.{I lost the training segments, sadly.}

A Thousand Years, and a Thousand More pass. The Seal Weakens, and eventually, the Last Sacred Stone is destroyed by the Malevolent Energies of Fomortiis' Soul. His power free, monsters once again start to roam the lands, and though the humans fight bravely, the continent is overrun.

Fast Forward another 1200 years, and the monsters have formed their own groups and societies. Basic and tribal, true, but they have started to gain human intelligence. And with that Intelligence, there is a chance to make something of yourself. To be more than just another in a horde.

So you all, for your own reasons, have sought out others to form a group. But on the horizon, dark tidings turn for this new era.

Dark Seals are almost universally produced by Mother Gorgon of great standing. They allow any Monster to reach the next stage.
While not the only way, most are very specific. Dark Seals, so long as that monster is powerful enough, let them skip the time normally necessary to evolve naturally. Though, if the monster isn't ready, the Seal consumes the user itself.

This may be due to them being incompatible with it. Not really worth the chance, as waiting for it is likely to leave you stronger anyway.

For centuries, two major societies have grown, aware of each other, but separate to some degree.
However, growing tensions have begun to build between these two nations. There is only so much land, and soon war will erupt.

It is only a matter of time.

What this is:

A bored concept. I am bored, and such, shall GM a game despite not having my usual resources available. Rip OneNote

I'm taking 3 to 6 players. On each side.
Yeah, it's that type of game. At some point, you are going to end up fighting each other. This can't possibly go wrong!

As a side note, don't expect a regular schedule.
