Hmm, I see how to build weapon racks out of wood, but weapons?

It seems as though fortress guard might be a good place for training up peasants from scratch, since you don't really want to send them into the fighting too soon anyway. Why not use fortress guards for the guys who you want just to train?

Well, it finally seems to be working. I had been avoiding those pdcurses directories with "dll" in their name because I foolishly thought, for some reason, that LCS only needed a static library.

Anyway, don't know if I'll add anything to the open source project proper, but I'm excited at least to be working with the code. Thanks again!

I'm trying to compile this, too.

It would be nice to have access to the versions of curses.h and (already compiled) PDCurses.lib that are being used to compile this project under Windows. I've been trying to build the PDCurses library from the source code available on sourceforge.net, but not succeeding, with Visual Studio .NET 2003.
