I use Astrill here in China, which has been reliable, and without reports of bullshit. I'd also recommend ProtonVPN, as proton's services all seem to be pretty good eggs.

I played a bit of Mordheim and also have the same complaints alongside the same persistent desire to keep playing... It's a frustrating fame, but just not soul crushing enough to get me away from it.

I promptly stopped playing after the first gym because I found everyone's dialogue to be insufferable. This is an ongoing issue I've had with the games, though - just a symptom of being an old curmudgeon.

All the time. My forts usually retire around 80, and I usually alternate between adventurer and fortress mode to keep it exciting.
