yeah, you are right.

392
did 3 preorders. all 3 i deeply regreted.
i think that discount only for preorder is almost as bad an idea as a promo video with naked freaks dancing the rainbow dash.

393
balance by poor ai.  yeah, almost as good an idea as balancing by poor userinterface.

394
watched it too.
i realy hope they improve the ai a bit. the enemies seem to act completely random. like attacking the hightest hp character wile another one is at 1hp. enemies also seem to use their skills at random - like blighting or nuking targets that are almost dead.

you can make insane ammounts of isk/h with faction warfare.

397
i hope they remove some of the useless items. right now, the dificlty is way to random with i think is mostly caused by stuff like the poop.

aside of that, im not entirely sure if the world needs another retro rougelike. i sure dont, even if i have a strong hatelove to tboi.

ah damn. who am i kidding. of cause im gonna buy it. someone please kill me.

hm, ok. so the communication is just a bit hidden.
im not that involved, and just see if i find something new on the main website once in a while.

399
should definitive communicate more.
the last blog entry is the announcement of the (very sucessfull) kickstarter campaing. it ends with the words "More to come soon!" and is 7 month old.
as much as i like the artwork and everything ive seen from the game so far, this kind of non communication is excactly what i do not like to see in crowdfounded projects.

personally i dont have any problem with early access and i dont think its always bad.
there are good games and bad games, and this was true before early acess became a thing and it still is.

however, i decided for myself not to participate in it anymore simply because i just can spend so much time on a single game, before it becomes borring.
i dont want to spoil the fun for me. i rather wait for the cookies instad of eating all the dough ;)

there are many absurde fits flying around, piloted by players that dont realy know what they are doing.
yeah, you can kill such a cruiser with a frigate.
competent t1 frig vs competent t1 cruser tho...
would not bet on the frigate.
but sure, if you are lucky enough to find a blaster moa with your kiter tristan in a spot with no gate guns... that just may be your day of glory.

it works extremely well in packs , it wont work solo. 1:1 you have to be very lucky beat a t2 fitted frig with a t1 fitted derpfrig - it will only work if you can dictate the range, and stay out of the enemy weapon range.

pirates usually use a very different approach. they fly very expensive, and hate to loose their ships. also tho its fun, you need a lot of sp to fit in with them (thrust me, you dont want to be the guy in the 14m kittechensink brawler cruiser while everybody around you sits in ishtars). having a gang link alt on a secondary account is highly recomended in this envoirement.

so, id say: go to lowsec, but rather join the army. that will get you the fights you are looking for, and provide you with the income to buy your "ammo".
skills whise, for this you want to be as good as it gets with anything that fits small weapons. t1F > Dessi > AF >  Bombers (if you want to do missions, else skip) > EAF > inties > interdictors would be the progression i suggest.

i was abused by capital letters when i was little.

edit: i was asked to make clear if joke or not.
nope, no joke this time. capital letters are mean where i come from.

yeah, tho fw piracy beats fw income whise, fw is a great place to learn get going with solo pvp.

that said:
to blow up some miners you dont need to be a good pvp pilot. you just need to know some basic game mecanics, and somewhat decent skills to fit and fly a destroyer.
minerbumping.com will provide you with all the information needed to become a tool in their army.

most prefer the 3 step method:

1 get a destroyer
2 grow balls.
3 blow stuff up.

note that step one and two are interchangeable. dont interchange with step 3 tho, it wont work.
