Yes, Maggie was a great bird, who loved me deeply, and tolerated my wife. 
Her previous owner died suddenly and she didn't get along well with the widow so I was able to adopt her. She was a replacement for my previous bird who died suddenly in an accident. Maggie was 15 when we adopted her, and would have lived another 45 years or more if her natural lifespan had been respected.

Thought I'd let the community at large know that when my family and I (wife and kids) got back from vacation today, my house-sitter told me that my precious African grey parrot had died while I was gone. It was nobody's fault, as far as we can tell. We all cried for a while. I'd just like to say, Maggie, you were an amazing bird, and an amazing friend. You will be missed.

You fail at math. 96 x $10 = $960. This is the minimum, however, as I think some people may have donated more.
I believe that when we say that 96 animals are sponsored, it means that some might have been sponsored twice. Could be wrong, we'd need Toady to confirm. Toady?

Glad you like them! Haven't done work on them for a while, lost some work and got discouraged. The soundpack with my voice isn't ALL complaining, per se, but it has a lot of comments on gameplay. Good fun!

In all seriousness, I'm making a comic with animal-people (primarily rodents) set in a city, with a detective/mystery theme.
Style-wise, I'm open to using whatever style you feel most comfortable with, but looking mostly for a simple style overall.
Contact me or post here and we'll talk. It's going to be really cool, I've got most of the first episode written and laid out.
