Enemy phaseAmidst the fighting, cold winds now accompany the heat and swirl clouds of ash above the camp, darkening the day there. The few remaining opponents cease their attacks in visible confusion upon realizing that fact. Ghalymae, Dunas' mount, roars upwards on two legs for a moment and has become visibly distressed.
Then, the manipulated barrel bursts open audibly, shortly followed by the ceiling above it crumbling and a deep rumbling fills the air, almost sounding like a growl. From the destroyed ceiling, the a blackened formation of rocks emerges. The rocks shift and orange-glowing eyes suddenly appear on it before the entire formation begins to burn brightly. The rock formation gradually grew in size as the surrounding flames flicker, as if this... thing grows nourishment from their destruction.

The Westland soldiers could do little more than to look in shock and horror.
"What... what is this?!""It's like my father described it! It must be a Darkspawn!""Nononononononono!""Dunlandic Devils! You even dare to weaponize the enemies of humanity?!"
"SILENCE, SOLDIERS!"The booming voice from before the gate cuts cleanly through the dysfunctional chatter.
"Dunland! If this accursed existence is not your fault, then you shall cease fighting immediately and fulfill your duty as soldiers - nay, as HUMANS - to help everyone evacuate!"
"Hmmm... This is an Asheater. Conventional weapons will not work against it, for arrows burn mid-flight and iron becomes but a soft lump in its presence. Retreating is definitely the wisest choice."
"I know. I fought something like that in the past. It's hopeless with our numbers. You better get away, Head Archeologist."
"Heh. You underestimate me and my boys. Ready?"
"Yes, yes."
"Uh-huh!"Rubinelle's men use their arms to vault her high into the air, across the gate, where she gracefully lands next to a suprised worker with a Four of Clubs in his hands. She pulls out a set of tools from her bag attached to her belt and swiftly opened the gate as she smiled at said worker.
"You should attend the archeology course at Ajurai University, sweetheart. You might learn a thing or two. Also, I believe you have something that belongs to me..."
"... I'll overlook this trespassing since it's an emergency. Alright, let us get everyone out here alive!"
"I agree with the Scarlet Knight. Let us get everyone still alive out of here. The battle is over, we can only flee for now..."On the forestside, upon realizing what has just happened, a priestess jumps through the fire and the smoldering debris, noticing Maria and a severily-wounded Rhian.
"... So this side has been vanquished... ... You, people of Dunland! A Darkspawn has appeared all of a sudden! Allegiances matter little now, for I beseech your help in evacuating everyone still trapped inside!"Without hesitation, she raised her healing staff and approaches Rhian.
Amidst the chaos, one certain archer slips through the remains of the outer walls and runs for the hills, looking back at the Darkspawn ravaging the camp.

"..."
He then vanishes into the treacherous terrain.
Time passes.
The two forces have gathered together on the road towards the camp, a far distance away from the fallen camp as the Darkspawn there repeatedly burns whatever is left in there, growing ever so slightly with every new cloud of ash blown into the air. What little could be saved currently gets organized and the priestess diligently attends to everyone's wounds.
"... To honor your help with the evacuation, I will not take you prisoners of war and expect the same courtesy from you, Sir Dunas."
"I agree to these terms, Sir Valentio... What will we do now regarding this monstrosity?"
"Nothing. We cannot fight it. But the mages within the forest, those can."
"... Don't tell me that King Talos of Westwind expected this?"
"I don't know. All I know is that His Majesty personally ordered the Hundred Sigils to be there. Our elite troop when it comes to Darkspawn eradication. But maybe He just wanted the best mages to take care of your Red Wings and pegasus riders. Either way, it should now be tall enough to be noticed by our armies. Hopefully the unnecessary battle will come to a stop with that."
"Likely. King Alfalm of Dunland is the Hero of Light after all. He cannot continue a battle in good conscience when Darkspawn are now involved."
"Anyway, nothing we can do about it. We shall now return to the Westwind army. May we not fight again, Sir Dunas."
"... Goodbye, Sir Valentio."The two opposing troops go separate ways. In the background, a symphony of spells is now assaulting the Asheater. By the time you reach the Dunland main camp, the desperate fight between the Hundred Sigils and the Darkspawn still rages on, the Dunlandic soldiers only able to watch it from afar while nervously chattering with each other and tending to the wounded. You gather at Sir Dunas' personal tent.
"It is not the outcome I've expected, but you've fulfilled your obligations. Please understand that I have to make some errands first, considering the circumstances. You're free to walk around within the perimeters of the camp until I return to deliver your rewards."The Map has finished. You gain 50 EXP.79/100 EXP[Now Playing: TearRing Saga - BGM36]You may explore the camp and interact with various characters.

King Alfalm himself stands at the entrance of the Royal Tent, his personal bodyguard standing next to him. The inheritor of the Charos bloodline observes the fight against the Asheater while the bodyguard does not allow himself to be distracted. Considering the difference in status, one must be wise in approaching the King, keeping enough distance to not end up on the opposite end of the bodyguard's sword.

Sir Dunas is moving from tent to tent, but maybe he can be caught on the way to one for a short chat.

Lady Vigrid sits silently and lonely at a table, gazing at the map of Caranbough Hills and subtly shifting between a variety of light emotions.

Sir Thrum proudly talks with nearby soldiers, hamming up his battlefield achievements. The words "Scarlet Knight" could be heard especially loudly during his retellings.

Sir Dulosta sits on the ground at the edge of the camp, watching the Asheater on the horizon with a stern stare.

Sir Jernigan tends to his wyvern as he speaks to his fellow Red Wings. He seems hard to approach.
A group of soldiers, primarily tome-users, mumble amongst each other. Their expressions make it clear that their talks is not of a positive nature.
