Hi all, I'am new to dfhack, its a great adventure to dive into this!

Question: I'd like to run a onMapLoad.init with a event-subscription to some reaction-trigger for my mod.
I know I have to place stuff into my mod-main folder, with the Objects, Graphics, Info.txt and so on. I've creature-raws and stuff
But the dfhack documentation says that I need to place the onMapLoad.init in the dfhack-config/init folder.
Can I  pack these into my main mod somehow? How can I deploy my init-files together with my main mod?

You're right. I do apologize. I meant it as a cat-joke, but it is not really fair to say..

The absence of PET-tokens is one of the things I meant.
The goal indeed of such a project would be to 'fix' the raws. But instead of creating another mod, do it directly in the vanilla-files.
Then, when everything is done, present the smoothed-up raws to Tarn and Zach, so that they might consider using them to replace the current.

If this project is supported and executed by a large portion of the modding community, it might have a reasonable change of succes.

Well my idea was, if let say between cycle 6 and 7 there is another timedifference, my syndrome-interaction-mixup may notice that it is autumn.
do you know how I might do this with DFhack? I've not yet tried anywhing with that. I want my livestock to go to sleep in winter, autonomously

So this is a kind of forum-game, buth with modding.
  • Every participant can ADD or UPDATE a tag of this creature
  • or start a new mod-file (like bodyparts)
  • You may not update a tag, that is added within the last 10 posts (or something)
  • it should be(come) a valid creature, so non-working tags are not alowed
  • if this tag comes with necessary other tags, well OK then, you may add those too.
