I never notice anything like that from Strik3r always seemed like a decent person to me.

Kinda surprised too. The moderation log just says "Abusive". No other explanation given.
Also Max you seem to hate anyone that doesn't agree with you completely so you probably be happy no mater who it was.

The anti-Kitfox post with the pick handle shoved up their company logo played a part.

2. embark screen is way more intuitive and will lead to easier discovery of really interesting topography. As well, you can now embark on the edges of map tiles, whereas before you were limited to the grid. though I am sad you are limited to 6x6 embarks. No longer can we span gigantic fjords with megabridges.
You can increase maximum embark size to 16x16 in game settings. Big embarks will cause lag if your computer is like mine.

Yeah. They are invisible. The pawns still build it and it can be interacted with and used if you can find the square on the map.

I tried using the trade depot as the model for now, but it doesn't show up.

The graphics file ids are defined by tile_page_buildings.txt. Many building graphics consist of a base foundation graphic and an overlay. Also, all custom workshop ids must be prefixed by 'WORKSHOP_CUSTOM:' or 'WORKSHOP_CUSTOM_OVERLAY:' when defining graphics. If you are wanting to use the vanilla trade depot model, then this should work:

just be aware that you cannot use Kitfox assets in released mods.
