Get on the macroplastic grind.

Is it normal after doing padwork in boxing gloves to struggle to open your hand fully the next day? nothing hurts, it's just *hard*. Like when you've overexercised.

Nope, end result of "Look, it's your fault that our product is shit, you should have known better. Please order with us again and ask for a custom size, that'll fix the issues!"

Unfortunately, there's not a lot I could do. If they were UK-based I'd be able to take them to small claims but that ain't happening and it's probably not worth the effort if I could. I'll just have to be content with warding away any potential customers.

EDIT: I've found another method of attack.

Tried them on (And holy fuck are they uncomfortable. The material's bad enough, but the stitching is stiff and digs in all around the groin area), and noticed that they don't actually sit like boyshorts.

Seems they sent me the wrong product. I did a bit of examining and comparison, and I'm 95% sure they're actually hipster briefs.

If I'd have to sum up S3 DMZ in one word, it'd be "Sweat". Players camping (Seriously, how is spending 25 minutes staring down a scope fun for anyone?!), players chasing you down over absurd distances to steal the $5 in your backpack and the shoes off of your corpse, exfil campers, train-based slaughterfests...

And the AI, if it's not reinforcing constantly, works off of some sort of expanding circle of reinforcements instead. You get into a shootout and all the AI in the local area steadily pick up on that and filter in. I died one round after being stuck in a shop. Must have killed about 25 bots. Burned through my armour, all my SMG ammo, all my AR ammo, all my shotgun ammo. You can only do so much in the face of that. In fact, I'd almost got all of them, managed to peg a bot sniper in the face with the final shotgun round on me and they immediately domed me, apparently having received no flinch from a massive amount of buckshot smacking their face.

I've chosen to play on a skerry, courtesy of the Geological Landforms mod.

Basically an island, the only access is the southern shallow sea (Every island landform has some access to allow for raids and such) and the majority of the ground is rock rather than dirt. I can't leave the tile without either a shuttle or drop pods. The intent is to eventually pack everyone up, get some supplies, and reestablish myself on the mainland.

In the meantime, the lack of soil has lead to an interesting situation. See, it still counts as temperate forest and all the animals are spawning. The majority of what little ground there is has been used as farmland so the animals are starving. The instant one of my crops grows to being harvestable there's a mad scramble as every herbivore descends upon the manna that is a single rice plant, followed by the mad scramble from me to massacre every last animal that's trying to eat my crops. The ground has been littered with corpses (Although not for long, my meat and leather industries are thriving) and stained with blood.

We cannot get out. We cannot get out. They have taken the field and storeroom. Felix and Lynx and Engie fell there bravely while the rest retreated to the bedrooms. We are still holding...but hope …Thomas's party went five days ago but today only four returned. The blood is up to the wall at the research labs. The megasloth took Thomas--we cannot get out. The end comes soon. We hear moos, moos in the dirt. They are coming.

EDIT: While we're here, does anyone know of any modpacks like the old Arbitration: Realistic Research from a13? It was nice having to advance through the ages, only being able to get to higher tech levels once certain things had been build (A bit like adding more microanalyzers for the various tech levels), tooling up pawns so they could actually do their jobs at a decent pace, locking some buildings behind certain resources etc. etc.

I am trying. Filled out their "contact us" form since that's the only real way to get in contact it seems.

Killed three heavily armoured and armed guys, started reloading and came under fire. Looked that direction, there was nobody around.

Turns out that the game told me fire was coming in from the south. It was actually from a guy coming in from the north. I've no idea why the game decided to lie to me like that, but it did and I got killed for my trouble. Considering that was the fifth session where I died in a row I called it quits there.

Other deaths:

Player, no reason
AI swarms (Looks like they broke the respawning AGAIN. I killed the guys in the area, two choppers dropped off more. Killed them too, and instantly another two appeared. You only have so many armour plates and so much ammo)
Player who was breaking into the train safe when I was trying to board it. Game neglected to mention that the safe was being cracked this time.
Character decided that, rather than boarding the train, she'd try to slide under it with predictable results.

Pissed off more than anything. Basically cross posting from the LGBTQ+ thread.

Bought some tucking underwear. They weren't fucking cheap either, so I was expecting something decent. Instead what I got was some poor quality, thin as fuck tat to the extent you couldn't tuck with it if you had a fucking vagina. Over £100 down the drain on that shit.

Suppose that serves as a warning to me not to spend that much until I'm sure the product's decent, even in areas where the company's ostensibly looking out for people like me.

Welp, spent £100+ on tucking underwear. They arrived, and they're not really all that similar to how they appeared on the site. Made of some crappy thin material that you can literally see through that feels artificial as all hell. Took them far longer than they'd said to arrive too, and it seems unlikely I can get a refund due to them being based in a foreign country and having a no refunds policy.

Screw you, Origami Customs.

It feels like the US, over the past 6 months to year, has really just leaped off the cliff after spending so long teetering and threatening to jump.

It's like the abortion ban just unleashed a torrent of hateful insanity.

Liz Truss continues her descent. Before long she'll be doing press conferences from a mental hospital treating her for paranoid schizophrenia.

Now I'm afraid to click the video, what's on it?
Corrupt rich fucks trying to silence youtuber, going as far as firebombing his home, not to mention the lawsuits.
Well, nothing provable. However, the guy's been engaged in an ongoing media/super suspicious legal war with an Australian politician/businessman who has had a couple of jobs in places with links to organised crime.

And his house got firebombed.

Twice.

So nothing provable but an awful lot of eyebrow wiggling, pointing, and mouthing "over there!"

Playing Brazil, and I've reached the point I can take on France and win. I mean, I lost the war, but that was because I had to entice Britain on to my side (France sided with Bolivia) and Britain's fucking useless at invading places they don't already have a front, and to enforce the goal they wanted I'd have had to capture their capital.

Still, kicked France's arse in the Brazilian theater.

Yesterday my sci-fi novel hit 100 pages! :D
Hooray!

Just remember to fill it with random rambling and use as many words as possible to describe one word concepts. It's what an English teacher would want.
