Can't block the BALLS, no.  Can block BREATH fine.

I'd suggest training wrestling and getting yourself capable of dodging them, as I suspect (read: hope) you can dodge them..

It's a bit convoluted at the moment, press R to get them into your hands, then drop the old or put them into your (P)ack.

Yep, it's weight.
My adamantine bins (I had too much adamantine, go figure) got scattered while my heavy iron (special modded adamantine with twice the weight of iron, for testing purposes) bins didn't.
Both were empty.
Heavy iron is an exact copy of adamantine except with changed weight.

Not now, but Toady says it's coming soon.
That's about all I know about it, sorry.

So you're saying we all should be trying to get stolen weapons to stick into guards?
Awesome!  Time to go bully some guards with thrown stolen pikes and see what happens...  Hopefully it won't completely pierce him and instantly kill him...

Bug of the year?  More like unintended feature of the year.
Seriously though:
"Oh, he'll kill me..  Maybe I should try to join him instead of getting killed..."

No, they drop stuff if they get hurt enough too AFAIK

I personally think that, if I shot myself in the chest with a crossbow, I'd be unable to hold the crossbow because of the pain...

I actually have no idea.  I just saw that in the log, I didn't actually see him.
I didn't see any signs of there being a third party, but who knows?

Yeah, so what if I just registered?  Why should that make me any different?

I had no idea this could even happen...
code:
The flying Iron bolt strikes The Guard in the upper body!
It is mangled!
The Guard's right lung has been pierced!
The Guard's upper spine has been mangled!
The Iron bolt has lodged firmly in the wound!
The Guard loses hold of the Copper crossbow.
The Guard falls over.
The Guard gives in to pain.
Arkur Kiseote, Guard has bled to death.

This will make every creature of that race feel exceptionally willing to go for an adventure with you.</STRONG>

Including mayors and guards?
I found this legendary crossbowman in one town..  He feels exceptionally inclined to stay there..
It would be so awesome to exact revenge on this guy for the 8 adventurers he's killed by taking him to a GCS...  Hehehehe...

It also happens when you have capitalization and/or spelling errors in your raws.  That is to say, traditionally everything in the brackets is [ALL_IN_CAPS]
EDIT: Err, why is this in Adventure Mode Discussion?

The Drunk reverse roundhouse kicks The Star sapphire golem in the right arm with his left foot!
The right arm flies off in an arc!
   You are no longer stunned.

EDIT: Completely forgot that I posted the specific instance where he kicked the arm off.
He kept on going with that and finally struck it down after chopping off effectively every limb it had.
