« on: December 26, 2010, 01:20:57 pm »I've already posted in this thread about what I got, which I thought was merely the wonder of excellent friendship never tasted before, but it would turn out that I've surprisingly received real, tangible items come Christmas morn!:] <3
I got a mess of candies, including a bag of skittles, some tinned treats, and these weird chocolates tightly bound in a plastic container wrapped in decorative sleeves with sailboats and other maritime memorabilia. I also received two DVD movies: Ike (some weird movie about a soldier or something) and Mr. Woodcock, a comedy that, unknown to my Christmas givers, was a movie a hated quite passionately. I accepted it with a smile nonetheless as I was passed my largest and most unexpected gift of all: a tiny DVD player!
I'm simply astounded at how unbelievable these people, whom I've known for only a short time, have warmed to me and have insisted on being so generous and kind. My harsh life up to this point has not known these qualities in anyone except my dear Aunt. I have no idea how to repay them.
