Hey the article says Madhouse was the animation studio, that's the same guys that worked on Monster.  Cool.

Check out the tvtropes music page for vocaloid.

I personally only really enjoy the Nico Nico Chorus because I think they're actual singers.  If they aren't I'll just go kill myself or something.
My two favorites currently are-

So, decided to screw my sleep schedule because I couldn't stop watching Monster.
I have finished Monster, don't really have much time to get more in depth about it because I have to sleep, but the show was really enjoyable.
