The G-8 filler? By filler standards, it's actually pretty good, but you could still skip it and nothing of value is lost.
The CP9 arcs are shortly after that, canon, and my favourite stuff thus far.
Just finished episode 180 of One Piece.
Damn man, that was insane. Luffy better beat the fucking hell out of this guy after all the shit he did.
