I'll be bumping this STALKER thread because it looks to be the most recent.
I'm going to recount my first Blood Sucker run in, this is SoC btw.
Alright so I'm in some underground place shooting bandits and looting corpses. I was injured so I went back to the entrance to rest until fully healed, because I didn't have any med-kits (playing on Hell and stuff, this is the Oblivion Lost mod). I wake up to what appears to be my second blow out (my first was with Fox and he died because he was too stupid to seek shelter) and everything is shaking and stuff, ringing keeps appearing in my head. I keep thinking that a blowout is happening above me, but it doesn't seem right. I go forward past the corpses I wasted and looted. I head down a spiral stair-case and the ringing is making my ears bleed, but it isn't effecting me at all in-game. I get to the next area after traveling by some acid gas things...this room is also empty as I cautiously look around. I take the cat-walk near the right side for the higher ground (plus it's dark), my flash-light is off. I scratch my nose...there's a noise behind me, I turn around BLOOD SUCKER I unload my whole AK-74 clip into him and the bullets bounce off of him. Before I can even switch to my shotty I'm dead.
