« on: March 12, 2010, 02:30:54 pm »So: I'm addicted to watching/reading Let's Play's. I've been hanging around the Something Awful forums lately. My biggest draw is/was the jaw-droppingly hilarious The YOU Testament Super Crazy Edition. The mash up of Goon ingenuity and the game-maker's astounding abundance of egotism and dearth of skill is comedy gold. But that's not what made me happy.
What made me happy is at the bottom of page 20, where the news is revealed of the legendary Mat Dickie tackling his newest magnum opus - a RPG where you play as Mohammad. Yes, that Mohammad. His ramblings about his place in history are nothing short of awe-inspiring. I'd be remiss if I didn't say I had a similar idea myself once upon a time, so no matter which way it turns out, I'm tickled to see it at all.
Especially with the monumental task of bringing an open-minded, respectful treatment of Islam's founded being seized by the biggest douche in the history of indie gaming.
Funny that, I happen to be reading a Let's Play called Pathologic.

It also can't be Dakarian, Webadict, Archangel, or ToonyMan.
That just leaves Leafsnail, Vector, and Mr.Person as options (for me, at least).
No time to look them over in detail tonight, but I'll try to get to it tomorrow morning.

Yeah, MGS3 is pretty much 5 star quality work. Sneaking around is so much fun, well, it should be what I'm doing.
Case in point, I finally got to where Solotov is being held, I tried about 20 times doing it sneaky, but I always got spotted and resorted to being dead.
Then I found out about my backpack screen.
I had weapons I didn't know about.
I had a SHOTGUN.
I beat the mission easily after that, FOX requirements be damn, they won't know I'm here IF THEY'RE ALL DEAD.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH
I was able to get Solotov and as we were leaving I was spotted by people that should be dead. Whatever, then I saw some cool guy that uses an automatic pistol, HOWEVER. I know enough about Metal Gear that this guy should be using REVOLVERS. WHATEVER.
I DONT KNOW
Then I saved and stopped playing.
