ToonyMan, I'd be willing to switch, but I need you to choose a punishment if you're wrong.  I don't really care what you pick, but I need you to understand that EuchreJack is definitely teamless based on how he's acting.  That does not mean that he might not be a Mafia team, but if he's Town, I require a sacrifice from you, to show that you're 100% on this.

As long as I'm alive I will desire Jack's death. Because I am Town and know he is a Pirate.

After Jack is dead if I am still alive then I will continue to be in this game and try to catch the Mafia that remain.

If Jim shoots Jack then I can even start catching them on D1.

If Jim shoots me then I better see Jack get lynched today or I will be mad. My alignment and role will be confirmed so you'll know I am not lying.

What is Jack mechanically if cults aren't in this game but he is scum? Solo mafia? Scum on a pirate mafia team?

I can only speculate the game setup. My speculation is that Jack is the only Pirate, and he gets other players into his Pirate chat, but they would not be actual scum Pirates (but would now inspect as Pirates, by his own admission), thus masking who the true Pirate is, in this case, Jack.

My role is presumably to muddy the waters by having another player that always inspects as Pirate. Jack would not want a player like me in their chat in the first place, because I already am cover for him, among other in-game reasons that have occurred in thread so far.

I can also list some logic:

Facts
Jack admits he is a Pirate
There can be other Mafia-factions in large games that have malicious sounding names in red

Known between Myself, Imp, and Egan
Pirate is Red
Jack is not town or even third-party

There's no way Jack is currently Town on Day 1, right now. I don't have a reason to believe alignments can change, and I don't want that to be a mechanic, but I can't say anything that disproves it.

Knightwing said he thinks me and Webadict are busted in mafia. I don't think this is a problem worth fixing, so I'm joking about being nerfed. Don't nerf my mafia play.

But, ToonyMan, what if I did shoot you right here and now? You make a very reasonable case for shooting you even if Jack doesn't join in on voting me. Solving two slots with one shot is better utility than most vig kills.

You'll have to shoot me if Jack doesn't vote you, so I probably am sacrificing myself here because Jack is scum and won't vote you. Then we lynch Jack Sparrow today instead of whoever the heck Webadict wants because he is wrong.

Imp is definitely town. They have put the most amount of effort into this game, and their posts look extremely independent. They're at least not mafia (or pirate).
Knightwing and Egan are probably town. I think Knightwing is acting like how they would as town, and Egan wouldn't participate like this if they weren't town. Egan knowing that Pirate is red doesn't bother me. I think Webadict is dumb and wrong, but maybe his read of Egan is better.
Tric is either town or SK.

Jim might be town. I trust them more than the other big three because he's willing to shoot me for the greater good. I think you could argue that Mafia wouldn't want Jack to die so soon, so having Jack survive today could benefit them more.
Webadict is either being really dumb or something, but that can't be true because he's picking up on really subtle things so he's 100% paying attention to stuff. Maybe town, maybe not.
Max and Hector I don't trust but I can't say they're scummy.

I have no opinion on anyone else, this includes: Crystal, NQT, Lenglon, Cat, SecretDorf, Sofanthiel, BlackHeart, Elephant Parade.

My guess? Mafia are in there.

TL;CRTF: EuchreJack isn't on a team, he wouldn't claim to be Mafia if he was aware he was Mafia, he was pushed to a breaking point, he gave out information that should probably get him modkilled, and honestly, we can just have Jim shoot him if people are actually worried, which is reasonable to be, but it's far more reasonable to be worried about EuchreJack if you're Mafia because there's definitely a Mafia.

I agree that Jack isn't Mafia. However, I don't think he should survive today because he is a Pirate and still scum. Letting him survive is just incorrect. Whether that means being shot by Jim or voted off today. I really really think it's in our best interests to remove Jack today.

I admit when I started posting today I did not know Pirate was in red because I read my role PM via email which does not color any text. But I checked my actual PM and Pirate is in fact, red, so this confirms what Imp and Egan have said.

I don't know why you thought openly claiming Pirate would be okay. Maybe Fallacy is partially to blame, but even here you say:

I can't see anything that says Pirate is mafia.  For all I know, Pirate inspects as teal, brown, blue. In other words, my assumption was that it is a third-party inspection, not a mafia inspection.

I think your actions were in poor judgment even if you thought you were third-party or didn't know Pirate was in red.

I think getting mad over this is dumb and you should have been more careful about what you've said. Your behavior would have worked if you were town, and likely cleared you as town in my eyes, but it's not the case here.

It's a sinking ship now.

There are a lot of players. I expect a lot of things will be ignored or missed. I think it's important to keep things as understandable as possible to avoid players masking themselves in pointless banter or being ignored. I highly doubt every player here will be scrutinized fairly on the same level.
