Muv-Luv is now out on Steam
I watched the live action Akagi, which just speeds through the Washizu arc (well, most of it) in a scant ten hours. Bad news: there's no Zawazawa or big freaky noses. Also, Akagi is played by a 19-yr old scrawny teenager, when I'm pretty sure that Akagi was canonically in his late twenties when the Washizu fight began. You mean he ended up in his late twenties because the Washizu fight began and is still going, at least in the Akagi manga. Depending on how impatient you feel you could also read the Ten manga, which takes places much later in the Akagi timeline. Akagi was made as a prequel to Ten and to serve as a backstory for certain characters in it. Ten is also complete and fully translated.
GreatWyrmGold is on there because, as priorly mentioned, he held the number one until he was surpassed less than a month ago. I think holding onto it that long is worth it. Heck, I'd be including when Toonyman lost it if I knew when exactly that was.It was April 21st, 2013. And to be honest I don't know when I started myself.
Blind Grisaia no Kajitsu Unrated VN (18+): Quick thoughtsIt's okay, you already played the two best routes first.Spoiler: Common Route (click to show/hide)Spoiler: Makina Route (click to show/hide)Total score ATM: 7.3/10Spoiler: Amane Route (click to show/hide)
I still haven't finished Sachi, Michiru and Yumiko's routes.
A friend of mine has also been nagging me to go give Muv-Luv a go, but I've heard it's quite on the tragic side of stories. Downer Endings or just heavy tragedy in general tends to just depress me for a week or two, so I'm not sure if I should read it or not.Muv-Luv is suppose to come on Steam this summer so you might as well wait a month or two if you are going to play it. I probably wouldn't recommend the entire series if tragedies aren't your thing though... The Steam version will be the updated version that has the latest Age engine so it'll look nicer at least, with widescreen and lip sync. We got some sample screenshots in the Kickstarter activity and they're also on the Steam page now.
I considered that to be included in the "single man with his own place" bit. Although the sex itself isn't really a major focus. It's all about that hot dice bumping action. And trying to hunt down those goddamn random scenes for 100% completion.

100% completion.
Hi. I haven't played any of the Littlewitch games so I can't say anything about that. The art style is super shoujo though.Playing Tokyo Babel and Root Double concurrently right now, a funny parallel to two years ago with Ayakashibito and I/O. I might have full thoughts at some point.Sup, Toony?
Going back and trying to finish up unlocking everything in Romanesque. Hot dice whipping action.
So, anything new worth checking out lately ?Root Double, Tokyo Babel, and House on Fata Morgana have all released on Steam in the last month or so.
It's one of a small handful of games where I'm aching and wanting, my wallet is moist and ready, but the creators are simply not interested in giving me the good stuff I'm so desperately desirous of.me too
I'm very curious how the new Durarararara season plays out, I don't want to get burned by more Kira all day Kira all night Kira all the time. They add an extra 'ra' each season right? I don't remember the end of season 1 being very good.
Kaworu is Griffith levels of gay
Also this Rei had no personality whatsoever, so that's a bad point.
which can only lead me to believe that the VN is actually a psychologically scarring pornfest.I wouldn't say it's a psychologically scarring pornfest, although both things on their own are true. However, almost (barring one from what I remember) none of the psychological stuff is even related to sex and it's more about other stuff which is relatively interesting to read about. Most of the sex scenes where just Yuuji doing the heroine of that route. I found the backstories for each heroine to be the most interesting part of each route. Especially with their parents, because I freakin' love family relationships and drama in works. This is something I think Yumiko's route had done very well.
