@Tiruin:
I've been here.  I'm too busy to join any games right now.

KotM4 should still be going up the 2nd week of April.

One of my uncles did that.  He retired as a Lieutenant and now lives in Tennessee.  Probably almost half of my Aunts and Uncles (including my Dad) were in the Navy so it's not exactly a lonely business.

Leafsnail and Webadict already won KotM.  Unless we don't have enough players to fill a game I'd rather they sit out!

I think last semester was the first time I was unable to make decent posts because of real life stuff.  Same is true for this semester.

I'm an adult. :(

Okay, if you're more curious.  I currently have 86 credits out of 126 credits to graduate with an Electrical Engineering Bachelor of Science in Engineering, probably easier to call it a BSE in Electrical Engineering.  I'm not one of you programming gurus so I'm more adept in working with hardware circuity and all that jazz.  But basically, it's pretty time-consuming.  It can be kind of hard too, but I can't say I've been truly challenged yet, or at least, I've been able to overcome any problems that come my way.  I got a New England Scholar award this Tuesday after all, as in, my grade average last year was an A- out of nine classes.  I was 1 of 180 School of Engineering students to receive that award, and there's over 2,000 SoE students.  Ideally, this makes me look pretty good.

A second thing this semester that's eating a crazy amount of time, is the Nuclear Officer program I started.  It should cool off after this semester finishes, but there's a crazy amount of paper work to fill out.  Basically, the US Navy pays me a ton of money every month (around $5,000) while I'm a student, and then when I graduate I would go to Officer Candidate School and get commissioned as an Ensign and serve for about 5 years (including a year and a half of training).  I think it's a great leadership opportunity and it would be ridiculously easy to find a job after my active-duty.  Worse come to worse, the USN would pay for my Master's Degree as well, so I could just go to graduate school somewhere and get my MS in something.  Yeah.

My Spring Break starts next week, but I'm pretty swamped with work.  It's nice to have a sense of fulfillment though...

You can put KotM4 into the queue I guess.  Start date should be around the middle of April.

EDIT:
Leafsnail and Webadict aren't invited.

EDITX2:
Oh it's already queued...uh...I'll make the thread after my second mid-terms, as in, after the first week of April expect sign-ups.

Oh right.  I'm pretty jealous of European education.

I will say that being on a university does give the advantage of meeting people, yeah.

If programming interests you maybe you can work on some projects.  This would be on your own for the hell of it of course, but it's something you could do to enjoy yourself for now and after a while you might have some stuff to showcase which might land you somewhere depending on your skills.  It's an alternative to school if you're not a fan of lectures and burning money.

What exactly is the situation here?  Are you still going to a university?  How did you find your job?

Translation's started on the sequel to Grisaia no Kajitsu, which is supposedly pretty great. I'm still working through the first game -- only finished Makina's route so far -- but it cured the VN burnout I was experiencing post-Umineko. And Mahoyo should be done by the summer too, so there's a lot to look forward to on that horizon.
Makina's route is awesome.  Everything else is going to pale in comparison besides a few parts.

In breaking news from Japan ... a remake of the Legend of the Galactic Heroes was announced at the end of a stage play of the franchise.
holy shit

I have a feeling he will be back.
Yes.  I give him a month at most.

I think I'm burnt out on Mafia, though it's not something I like saying. Seriously, I'm curious as to how most of you manage to keep it up.
Alcohol.  Specifically, wine.
