Hi there. As you can imagine, I didn't contact you just because I could. I, and the other witches along with me, suspect that you're a certain supernatural entity, whose wincon we do not exactly know, but can imagine, and who is greatly relevant to _our_ wincon. If you are such, I'd like you to claim so, and claim otherwise if you are not.

Now, while it would certainly help us both if you _did_ turn out to be this entity, I have a bit of both good news and bad in either case. Point one - we are not hostile to the town. In fact, they don't concern us at all. Once our wincon is fulfilled, we will leave this village, thus allowing the town to win (probably) without having to cause the one we're looking for to lose. On the other hand, you may or may not know about a huge-ass magical rift nearby. _That_ is dangerous and is what we came here to seal, and for that we need to know if you're the entity we're looking for. In short, regardless of your alignment, we would appreciate you cooperating with us.

As for the bad news? Well, let's just say we have a resurrection that doesn't work on witches and that gives a one-day invulnerability. If you're the one we're looking for, that should tell you enough.

Well first off, the fact you had Dariush contact me either means Dariush had to contact me or nobody else I suspect is on the witch team, probably.

Anyway, I suspected some greater threat (not because of my role but because of what people have said Day 1), but I'm unfortunate to report I am not this greater entity to help you on your way.

The awkward problem here now being, I'm town, through and through (I'm probably the most townie player in the entire game even), and a mafia member just contacted me. My wincon is indeed to eliminate all witches. I know LNCP is boasting the puzzle aspect of the game so I'm not going to start tomorrow with "oh my god lynch Dariush now!!" because that feels really lame.

However, I'm afraid if I keep my mouth shut all of Day 2 I will be killed to keep my silence the following night. I guess you could say you don't have a night-kill or something, but I'm not too trusting. How am I suppose to trust my enemies enough to not say anything tomorrow, at least by the end? You did pull a big gamble, but I'm not sure how I'm suppose to proceed now...I'll cooperate through most of Day 2 at least to see if anything comes up.

Dariush or MOD question:
Does this quicktopic last forever now, even during the Day?

I have this feeling that supernatural entity is something all the mafia and third-party want to destroy. Tiruin seemed aware of it too. I don't think any town players are aware of it.

We indeed don't have a kill. I don't know whether or not there will be one tonight (or at any other time), but if there'll be, we won't have any part in it.

Since you claimed town, we have a vested interest in keeping you alive, in case you're lying. Why? Well, because the entity I was speaking of is the Death Shaman. All signs point to him becoming empowered if he dies. Thus, at this point any death will work against us, including yours. _Especially_ if you're lying and are indeed the shaman. Our full wincon is making him 'alive and unable to die' and Tiruin 'dead and unable to resurrect', by the way.

Also, there is no point in us killing you at all - if our wincon were getting rid of townies, I wouldn't have contacted you, would I?

Sounds good then. I found the Tiruin lynch as a bad idea, but it seems to have helped you and the other witches quite a lot. I believe that you guys probably don't have a kill, going by past WCs.

A few questions though:

1. Did you (Dariush) contact me because you are the only witch that can?
2. Finding the Death Shaman is going to be a bit harder for me, since unlike you guys I won't know who the other witches are and could possibly point my finger in the wrong place. I highly doubt you'd divulge your entire team, but do you have any general advice for me Day 2 because otherwise I'm going to play normally.

I'm also confused about the Tiruin thing. If your goal is to keep Tiruin 'dead and unable to be resurrected' that either means he's out of the game for real now (you guys would never res him) or there's other people who can resurrect, possibly the "good guys" and I'm working with the entirely wrong party.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's another group trying to keep Tiruin alive and the Death Shaman dead. I'm not really sure though.

Also, how is the Death Shaman suppose to stay dead if you guys have a res? The moment he gets lynched he would be back alive during the night. I guess there's that span where he's briefly dead.

1. Yep, I am the only one who could do that.
2. About the only advice I can give is 'watch out for jesters' and 'try to secure a no-lynch', but the first is obvious and the second is rather hard.

Our wincon mentions 'unable to resurrect', not 'unable to be resurrected'. That may simply be odd phrasing, or may imply that Tiruin had some kind of self-resurrect. (possibly making someone lynch-immune? Maybe that was exactly what the ward did? Maybe even an automatic second life?)

Also, I suspect that Tiruin had a resurrect he could have used to re-bind the death shaman if the latter managed to get himself killed. Thus, if he got Tiruin out of the picture (or caused him to misuse his res, or if I'm wrong and he didn't have it in the first place) and we somehow spent our resurrect (either on him or otherwise), he would have died for real and cost the game for us and Tiruin.

That feel when you're scum and still have no idea what is happening.

I find it odd that the witches would be able to win with the town. If I "eliminate" the witches by having you guys leave the game from winning that should be fine, but that also means every witch and town player would win, and that's bizarre. That would be quite a lot of people I'd hope.

In any case, that's my largest suspicion.

Possible Death Shaman picks:
Leafsnail - didn't soft-claim and possibly acting scummy on purpose
Vector - not really playing, might be on purpose
Ottofar - didn't seem as concerned as NQT

Probably not Death Shaman:
NQT - did not want to die at any costs
Everybody else - never racked up the votes really, unless they plan on acting out at a later point

While Vector is probably just busy IRL, I agree with your other two picks (especially LS, who was my second pick after you) and can add ZU, who bandwagoned Tiruin closer to the day end with no explanation whatsoever.

Yeah I can see it being ZU too. Tomorrow is going to be weird...

I'm not sure why I was a Death Shaman pick. I was the only player not voted once Day 1!

Vector and Ottofar both need replacements, come on guys.

Because 1) you responded strangely to my mention of the shamans at the beginning of the game, 2) I suspected that your defence of NQT was intentionally bad, 3) both you and Tiruin mentioned not wishing to hunt witches.

1) Wow I don't even remember that.
2) My defense of NQT was pretty bad mainly because I was pretty sure he's not a witch (and I still bet he's not a witch considering his attitude against you).
3) I wasn't going to lie.

Tiruin is back alive, just as I expected.

Uh oh Witch Maiden, you're gonna get lynched at this rate. Unless we lynch Tiruin.
