The "Villains Conspiring" song was pretty good.  Too bad they only really got to do it in Chapter 2.  Where's our drinking tea CG?!

The setting was basically Deus Ex, or cyberpunk I guess.  Although Taolou took down guys by electrocuting them so it felt like Darker than Black.


The text style is also very neat.  It's third person narration and even Kong Taolou the male lead gets a bunch of sprites.  Liu himself doesn't hold back either.  The updated sprites in the remake look even better, although they went with the more in-style Muramasa look and not Demonbane-style.

It's only six chapters.  I did the first four yesterday and finished up tonight.  There's really no reason to put this off and I'm glad I played it.  If only it could hold the ridiculousness Chapter 4 had though.

This is going to be very lazy commentating since Hanachirasu is so short and to the point there's nothing to really talk a lot about.


The combat scenes were pretty nicely written.  I guess I'll thank Moogy when I play Kikokugai too...and Demonbane?  Demonbane is long though.

I think my favorite part about Hanachirasu are the choices you get after finishing the game (which is depressing as hell).
