So, you wouldn't mind literally anybody getting hit? Does this mindset also apply to yourself, Toony?
If you were paying attention the people getting attacked at the time (unresolved) were Tiruin, Deathsword, Caz, and you (Dariush).  I'm kind of okay with that.  And it's shocking to find out I'll most likely be defending myself near turn end if nothing comes up.

Toony, why the sudden decrease of activity and increase of ignoring me?
If you wanted somebody who wasn't being as active as they should be there's Toaster (I would probably have attacked him at this point if I hadn't used mine already).  Do you have some shiny bells you want me to look at as you dance?

You can assume anybody I don't defend I don't mind seeing get hit.  Unless they make a better case.

We have nine players, not counting the Prince would make eight guards.  Four of which should be traitors.  There shouldn't be a conniving heir from my understanding.

Toony, how much weight do you feel an attack carries? Less than a lynch? More than a vote?
It's really a 1/4th of a lynch you could say (at this point).  I would consider anybody you attack you should be pretty confident in lynching though.  This will become easier once the first guard dies and we can get a confirmed alignment to work off of.

Defend Self
Toony: Care to elaborate on why I am "panicky", what caused you to reach that conclusion?
Whenever I see constant questions directed back at a player that look even longer than the aggressor's attack I find that scummy really.  You also defended yourself the moment you found out my attack which I would describe as an impatient or even panicky reaction, gathering further evidence.

I''ll attack Deathsword here though, he looks pretty panicky.
So soon? Why?
Because everybody are pansies.  I let discussion flow a bit so I could pick a likely target, you just hadn't made an appearance yet molasses pants.

Toony:  How much of that attack was true suspicion and how much was to break us out of RVS?
I would be lying if I said that was purely to break out of RVS.  I do want the game to "really start" at some point but it's not very productive to just target randomly is it?  I can say my decision was perfectly justified.

I''ll attack Deathsword here though, he looks pretty panicky.
And being 'pretty panicky' (without even mentioning why) is sufficient to justify what is effectively an unchangeable vote on him how?
Because the game would advance?  I think not attacking after a certain period is very scummy, and I explained why I put an attack on Deathsword.  Coward.  Don't expect me to defend you.

Dariush: What are you thinking of the posts so far? Do you have any feelings on who might be scum yet?
All of my readings are much more neutral than they would be in a normal game, because I know that scum don't know each other's identity. Add to that the reality of a brand-new gametype and the answer to the first question becomes 'many words'. As to the second question, I think that the likeliest scum are those people whom I adressed in my last two posts, namely Tiruin, Toonyman and Leafsnail.
Are we scum enough to be attacked yet then?  Or do you need to gather "evidence" by making us answer more stupid questions?

ToonyMan: If in a player's first post, they defended you while asking you about how you felt by being defended, how would you generally react?
Uh, if we remove the fact a player can't defend me unless I'm being attacked (I consider myself able to not get attacked the very moments the game starts), then I would feel pretty cool about getting defended because I could action more this turn.  This wouldn't help me determine the alignment of my would-be helper (or would-be attacker) but it gives me the ability to attack the people I think are traitors (and defend people I find loyal).

Leafsnail: Would you wait for somebody to defend you if you were attacked or defend yourself as soon as possible?
The timing of the defense doesn't matter as long as it's before the phase ends, so I'd wait as long as possible to use my defend in case there's a sudden attack on IronyOwl or something.  In addition I'd retaliate if the attack was not first sanctioned by IronyOwl.
Okaaay.

-snip-
I stated all possibilities for the sake of completeness.
And I think I already said what is the best time to attack the Prince as a traitor, but here is the answer anyway: when, at least, half the players are dead. The best scenario would be if one or more other players have already attacked him, thus attracting attention away from you.
But here, you don't know who your allies are - town or scum. Can you expound on that best scenario further? I find it hard to see when a player feels confident to attack the prince. Also, why panic about your own survival when attention is equal? The last part of the bolded portion seems like a badly thought diversion attempt.
You asked me the best time to attack the prince. I said that it would be if either most players were dead or someone had attacked the Prince. Sure, no one knows their team, but anyone attacking the Prince is scum, and if their attacks helps you kill the Prince yourself, then it is a good thing. Why do you think it's a diversion attempt?

Did I fail to answer you question? No, I didn't. Did I say anything about my survival? No, I didn't.

So, what the hell are you on about? Are you trying to come up with bullshit to justify an attack on me?
I''ll attack Deathsword here though, he looks pretty panicky.

If Player A attacked the Prince, and Player B did not immediately defend when he had the chance, would you consider A or B scummier?
Attacking the Prince is completely scummy (there's nothing complicated like redirects last I checked) and maybe Player B was going to the bathroom.  Player A is scummier!

Leafsnail: Would you wait for somebody to defend you if you were attacked or defend yourself as soon as possible?

Is passing your turn final?  Like if you type it in bold or something?
Yes.
Good thing none of us are named Pass.

I finished Chris' route in Majikoi but I don't even want to talk about it...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
So far I would say Wanko > Yukie              >  >>>> > >>> >>    Chris

Amazingly, I started Little Busters! a few days ago (I swear it's a coincidence with the anime I'm running out of top-rated VNs) and it's actually kind of good.  It has a nice cast and the gameplay sections are great.  If I finish it this would work as a good motivator for Clannad...

I'm fairly generous at this point.  It's hard to be picky when you do everything.

Where did you get Majikoi in english? Last I heard, it's still translating Wanko route. If there's a finished translation, can you PM me a link?
Miyako's should be done soon too!  Yandere's site is all messed up and I don't remember where I got it but simple searching should work.

New Berserk chapters, yaaaaaaaaaaaah

I finished Wanko and Yukie's route in Majikoi.  Wanko's was okay.  Yukie's has a neat arc and ends afterwards quick enough not to bother me but it wasn't really that good compared to Wanko's.

I hear Yandere is going to actually release Miyako's route soon and it's the best one yet!  (They're always the best ones yet)

I finished volume 11 of DKaiji and volume 10 of Angel Densetsu too.  I've been busy the last few days though because MID-TERMS so I can only finish like half a dozen things a day instead of a dozen...
Spoiler: Angel Densetsu (click to show/hide)

The only far-fetched thing is that they're all girls, but since this is some form of alternate history or future, and the military tends to segregate by sex anyway, it's not really too far-fetched - even by modern standards.
What are you talking about all the men were sent first and died clearly.  Now wear these plastic suits
