I recently got around to watching Shoujo Kakumei Utena and its movie, and found a lot of insight in it. I enjoyed it a lot, and wish I had gotten around to it sooner (although maybe had I watched it when I was younger, I wouldn't have understood it nearly as much). I've had no desire to watch any of the current season shows after getting through that whole thing.I know nothing about this series except I've heard a few music links on 4chan like...almost two years ago and it was pretty awesome. But after watching Escaflowne because I liked the music I learned that isn't the greatest idea ever. I do have the series but I mean...I still want to watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes and stuff too.
Looking forward to Hidamari Sketch's 4th season come Autumn.I don't think I could handle Sketch.
I pretty much feel that no matter how good Evangelion gets in the last 10 or 11 episodes, more than half this thing is fillers. If it wasn't for the production crisis sparking some creativity, this show would be forgotten. The first half is completely forgettable, in my opinion.That may be a little true. I remember not getting into Evangelion until the later half, but the later half was fucking awesome for me and honestly the first half isn't terrible to watch or anything so the payoff was perfectly fine (to me).
Thinking about watching Monster and K-On! in tandem, alternating series each episode.Monster, 20th Century Boy, and Billy Bat are very very strange. I heard Pluto was quite good but I haven't started it yet. The problem I have with Naoki Urasawa works is they always feel very vague and strange. Monster did make me cry multiple times though. As for 20th Century Boys....hrrrm that's probably a case where a really popular manga doesn't really leave an impression on me. And Billy Bat isn't finished so.

I am thinking of watching Ginga the dog anime...I laughed a lot watching Ginga, but probably for the wrong reasons.
But I don't know... I seen two camps for it. I am just wondering if it is good before I watch it (or at least if it is hillariously bad)
