Holy crap.  At home there's this one (or maybe more!) person who calls, but all they leave for a message is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR a high pitched ring.  It's terrible.

I so agree.  I think it requires a bit of thought to be funny.  So series that take the extra step in effort (and this always seems to be the serious ones) always gets the laughs out of me.  Even if the main point isn't to be funny they certainly have a sense of humor I can agree with.

I should give a recent example in Chaos;Head since I'm on chapter 6 of that now (it's truly a bizarre semi-serious VN):

The Fukumoto mangas

I finished Buraiden Gai, it's still missing the magic Kaiji had but I just need to read all of Fukumoto's works.  I'm on volume 6 of Zero now I think.  Zero is good but again it's not 'the best' Fukumoto has shown he can do.  So I end up being the most excited when new Kaiji chapters are scanlated.  Akagi is good too.  Kurosawa is okay but it's much more...coming of age.

I do like Zero the character himself too.  Some of the other characters are good too.  I suppose I still have Ten and stuff to read but I'm not sure I want to go through another Mahjong adventure.

As for VNs, mainly just Chaos;Head and Alicesoft games right now, Daibanchou and Sengoku Rance in particular.  They're fun to play pretty light-heartedly but it can get pretty freakin' hardcore.  Meanwhile Chaos;Head has been pretty much a kinetic novel with minimal involvment, it's a good read so far.  I have a few issues but I'm generally impressed.  I'm getting to the point where VNs start blending together in my memory though, it's...weird.  Because I'm starting to gather quite a large collection of fiction I can make a lot of comparisons in what something does, well or poorly.  I also have a lot of character archetypes down so I find myself more impressed when I'm surprised by something.

The first few chapters of Chaos;Head aren't too great, but the later ones have been quite interesting.  I'm on chapter 6 as I said earlier.  I have 18 hours right now I think.  It's cool because I really have no idea what could happen next, that is a GOOD thing.

I also can't get Inganock to work, which makes me saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.  The screen goes black after Liar-soft goes away.  I tried moving the movies but the title screen won't even come out.  The game works perfectly before the English patch.

I'm suppose to have Asperger's Syndrome, but I wouldn't let that put you down.  Everybody has a large variety of interests or occupations.  You can either choose to do something or not.  Whether you decide to advance your understandings of a topic, or improve your skills, or decimate your life, is from your own actions.  You could consider your life horrible and shitty, but place another person there and they could love it.  If you find yourself in a situation like that what you need is change.  Either change or accept your placement, make amends.  Of course, if you have no interests in doing new things or improving on what you have then you will find yourself questioning your monotonous daily life.

Here's an example, on campus the majority of students talk with one another in the front lobby or out on the courtyard (on 'good' days).  I never do that unless I'm waiting for a ride with friends.  I head to the library because it's quiet and comfortable and I enjoy it.  Getting the impression you have to talk to stranger to be happy is wrong if that isn't what you really want.  Do you really want to be in the library?  Does it sound like a nice place to be right now?  If the answer is yes then go to the library.  You'll find yourself much more content.

If you don't feel comfortable then stay calm, whatever trivial matter that is happening is nothing to become emotionally upset about.  That would just create tension and pressure.  When I buy things at a store and pump gas into a car just do it.  If you're with somebody else and they want you to go into the store just tell them you don't want to.  You feel more comfortable waiting in the car, only doing what is necessary.  Of course, gaining the courage to do required things in 'life' is part of what people call being responsible or an 'adult'.

In manga news I finished Legend of the Strongest Man, Kurosawa and I'm almost done with Buraiden Gai.  Both are pretty good and are at least not boring.  Guess I'll have no excuses to start Gambling Emperor Legend Zero soon or....Gamble Fish.  Berserk is still a thing that is happening.  I love Berserk, on volume 33.

In anime news there is no news. (I watch Fate/zero on Saturdays).  I guess I'm half way done with Gunbuster but I'm buuuusy.

God dammit step-Dad, stop smoking a cigarette every half hour in the kitchen from 2am to 6am every day.  It's unhealthy, it's annoying me, and you're not suppose to smoke in the house.  At least have the decency to flush the bud down the toilet and actually wipe the ashes from the sink when you smoke in the bathroom too, fuck.

I think I'm going to start leaving notes and stuff.  And I mean like, writing messages on the wall with sauce saying SMOKE INSIDE AGAIN AND BE CURRRSED

I don't know who or how I was revived.  In the flavor it says my soul was floating in the afterlife uncaring when a got a pulling sensation on my chest as my soul returned to my body.  I didn't even expect to return playing into this game. :P  My role and everything are still the same it says.
