Mass Effect 3 isn't going to be released on Steam. It'll be on Origin.
No f**king way I'm going to install additional bloatware on my low-capacity, old PC.
What specs do you need to play Mass Effect anyhow?

You have to play Umineko first Neonivek!  I think you'd really like it.  If you can hold out watching tons of Pokemon episodes I think you can handle a roughly 15-20 hour reading experience??  WITH MUSIC

Actually I've seen parts of episode 3 modded to have voices and PS3 sprites not sure what's up with that.

EDIT:
Oh gog Dissociation is a long story not a bunch of short stories.  That immediately makes it better somehow.

EDITX2:
Reading the Prologue of Dissociation, suddenly had a huge theory after a certain scene.

This is quickly becoming the Visual Novels thread.
Ah I should probably respond to this too.

1.  Besides like me and Patchouli nobody else is really saying anything.  I'm just really loud and active.
2.  If I were to make a VN or LN or Manga thread it would not get any posts at all and G-Flex would stab me.

I like to view this thread as the "Otaku" Japanese Culture megathread but I doubt Josh would change the title since it has such novelty and I do enjoy it.

If this doesn't horribly crash and burn I am TOTALLY screen capping the hell out of this.

Japanese language knowledge here I come?  The main menu is already in English if everything else is in Engrish katakana and common kanji and common expressions I can totally roll with it.

Let the Koopusu Paatii begin.

EDIT:
Oh, I forgot to mention the Openings.  They both play before the main menu screen even appears.
*SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST GAME OF COURSE, LIKE BIG ONES*
Spoiler: Opening 1 (click to show/hide)
Opening 2 is the more classic VN opening.  It uses the same tricks that Umineko and Higurashi use in their openings (at least for Alchemist in Higurashi's case).  You know what I'll add Higanbana to that list too.  It certainly qualifies.  Especially when the almost finished English patch comes out.

Man I love these type of games for some reason.

This series is basically Higurashi without the you know what.

EDIT AGAIN:
Hmm, the music might not be working.  The first PSP game had the same problem.  If that's the issue I'll really have to wait for the PC version I suppose.  With that the Chiitranslator will be compatible too.

Ah well.  There's always stuff to do while you wait for other stuff...

ENDLESSEDITS:
I finished reading The Indignation of Suzumiya Haruhi.  Overall pretty good.  Wasn't as whammy as the second half of Intrigues but Book 9 definitely has an interesting title.  The Dissociation of Suzumiya Haruhi.  :o

Wow yeah I remember that, I'm not sure how far back that was though.

Slim craze?!  Everybody I know tells me I'm going to die if I don't eat more.  Oh gog I had a dream last night where people were shoving bulkup protein shakes at me, it was a nightmare.

Due to my passive-aggressive manner whenever we have family dinners I eat more than everybody on purpose.

EDIT:
Oh shit this is my first post in this thread noooooo

Fold the bottom.  I have one pair that is totally shredded at the bottom but folding the bottom like two times helps.

Electrical Engineering at UCONN, might just do mathematics like Vector if it's too easy.

I'm a bit amazed by all the fan videos people have made for poor Slowbeef and Diabetus' bad game LPs they've been doing.

Seriously there are some good ones out there for Dark Seed 2 and Cobra's Space Adventure.  I can't believe I sat through both with Leafsnail but they were totally worth it.

*spoilers warning of course*
Rock Knight - Deathball
Rockers From Hell - Rockers From Hell
City of Mike Dawson
Action Dawson
Make a Man out of Mike Dawson

I mean Dark Seed 1 was pretty mediocre and the Dead to Rights games were insanely stupid but Cobra and Dark Seed 2 were on an entirely different level of amazingly bad.

Seriously Mike Dawson will live on with me forever.  He's amazing.  What was your relationship with Rita?!  I liked his VA too.  It was a pathetic as Silver in Sonic 2006.

And admittly I like Cobra's music (for the most part) and his voice actor, Doug Stone, quite a bit.  Doug Stone voices Psycho Mantis in MGS1 which Leafsnail mentions early by calling him Psychogun Mantis thanks to the fact Cobra's main weapon is called THE PSYCHOGUN.

Ah bad games...

Yah!  UTW also explains the Hisui Brainwash Detective thing.
"Nasu apparently made a lot of typos with Hisui’s lines in a minigame that was in the pre-release version of the Tsukihime visual novel. Among them is a typo where Hisui, as a detective, declares “犯人を、貴方です” (“I’ll make you the culprit”; the “wo” is supposed to be “wa” instead, which would make the line mean “You’re the culprit”). The joke is that the typo makes it look like Hisui is declaring to turn the person into the culprit, instead of declaring the person to be the culprit."

Spoiler: THE CULPRIT IS YOU (click to show/hide)

EDIT:
Episode 10 was okay.  The beginning skit was kind of stupid but the second one totally made up for it.
DEFECTIVES HISUI

Next episode is called Final Dead Lancer, oh boy.

Also Fate/hollow is being weird!  TLWiki went down and then Beast's Lair is still down.  I might just go through what I did reading any stuff I missed and Chiitranslator the rest like I did with the beginning of Higanbana and Mahoyo, it worked quite well because you can always remember the series/game as a whole.

Time to finish week 2 in Fate/extra.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Squeee

This is just like one of my Japanese animes!

I have to say if Nasu has one merit it's that he can not write a bad Master-Servant pair.  It's impossible.

I believe the strangest mystery is I don't even post in any board but General Discussion and even that is usually limited.

I spend most of my time on B12 snarking posters I don't like (almost everybody) and trying to feel cool.
