Man adaptions always have variations. If they copy the series scene by scene I would be weirded out a bit.
I've read quite a bit of manga and visual novels if that counts. I started reading a few light novels as well. I could make a list later when I'm not doing something.

I just peeked over at my Dad's Age of Empires III game. He named his city HELL and his leader's name is LORD SATAN. Wow. He's also level 90 what the heck.

I don't actually expect to finish it though. >_>Long story short. Watched nearly all of DCs sweet home LP with friends XDI sorta have this problem as well. Stay up all night to watch an entire LP.
