Woke up to some pretty normal silly conversations.

Saber is being odd still and sparring is getting pathetic.  We eat lunch normally and make some discussions and I start getting sleepy because jokes will only go so far when
SUDDENLY THE LIGHTS GO OUT
ahhhh
Shirou grabs his wood sword that's strengthened and Saber and I run out of the room towards the many presences outside which are SKELETORS EVERYWHERE.

Saber and I start slicing them down since they're pretty weak as I assume Tohsaka and Ilya can handle themselves.  Saber senses the Servant causing this out in the yard and we both head outside to see a shadow-y figure that can only be the last Servant, Caster.

Now Caster, she was the person who killed me in my one death so far so now this is damn personal!  She cut off my hand dammit!  Anyway, Saber slices and dices the many skeletons in my yard and confronts Caster at about ten meters distance?
Shirou doesn't feel right though, why would Caster announce her presence when she is so weak in hand to hand fighting so close?  Unsettled, Shirou cries out to Saber before she launches at Caster, who performs some crazy moon magic and drops a blob on Saber or something.  Saber just shrugs it off though, because haha magic protection!  Caster is 'shocked' by her resistance and Saber is about to strike again.
Of course, Shirou feels uneasy still.  I mean, what did she cut my hand off with anyway?!  Shirou runs foward and cries out to Saber but it's already too late!  A skeleton grabs Saber from the ground and immobilizes her, then Caster reveals and swings her crazy ass dagger (that cut off my hand) at the same time!  You see, Caster made Saber overconfident at first and now this is her real attack!
However!  Since Shirou was already running towards Saber to prevent any catastrophe he lunges at Saber to cover her, getting his back skewered by the zagger at the same time.

In extreme pain, Shirou collapses and Saber grabs him and retreats back a bunch of feet.  Caster begins speaking to Saber some about joing her side and yaddha yaddha.

Most importantly is that Assassin was defeated at some point so the threat at Ryudou Temple is gone.  Only Caster, Lancer, and Saber are left.
Of course, now Caster has an advantage here and she starts negiotating with Saber—
HOLY FUCK SWORDS
Hundreds of swords begin to rain from the sky, annihilating every single skeletor in the yard.  Caster looks up in shock.  On the roof...is a man.  A man cladded in gold armor.

He speaks smugly and seems to know Saber somehow.  The man snaps his fingers to Caster's shocked reactions.

And then Caster is covered in swords.

Caster screams in agony as her body regenerates and dies at the same time, she tries to flee but she succumbs to her many many many many wounds.  Bye Caster, we hardly knew yeh.

Ilya and Tohsaka step out of the house, dumbfounded by the newcomer.  Ilya seems to know him and starts angerily shouting at the man, she fires a magic bolt at him only for it to be instantly reflected and then protected by Tohsaka.  The Man's name appears to be Archer...he speaks to Saber from the roof that he has been waiting ten years for Saber's answer.  Which of course Saber doesn't know how to respond.  Archer #2 then says he's leaving for now since he's lost interest here and does so.

Hrm.

Back inside Tohsaka patches up Shirou again.

Zombie Shirou
Which can only go so well, right.  Some talking goes on and uuuhh my memory is unforgiving.  Shirou asks everybody at the dinner table why they are seeking the Holy Grail.  To which Rin and Ilya respond by saying they just want to win, which annoys both of them since they have similar goals.  Saber speaks saying she wants to achieve the Holy Grail so she can change who recieves the sword in the stone, since she is an unbecoming King and wants somebody who can do better than her attempt.  Shirou of course is pretty agitated by that since Saber is incredibally underlooked and underappreciated.  In their discussion I certain obvious plot twist crops up like an ugly weed.

Oh now that wasn't predictable!  Yeah I knew there was going to be something up here.  The obvious answer is that the Archer we saw today was actually the Archer from the Holy Grail War ten years ago, he was the only servant left after Saber disappeared thanks to Kiritsugu making Saber destroy the Holy Grail last game, yeah.  He's been substaning himself by collecting souls or something.  Anyway, Saber retains her memories between Holy Grail Wars because she's not a full Servant.  She's a half dead person who travels in loops through time and will die when she achieves the Holy Grail since that's her Servant contract she made with the world.  Blah blah blah everybody goes to bed, the only other Servant left is Lancer anyway since this other Archer is against the rules.

Shirou heads to Kotomine's place anyway though and talks for quite a bit with him.  Kotomine says he's investigate who this second Archer is and get to the bottom of this tomorrow.  Which I haven't done yet, tomorrow.
