I'm just going to lie about something and be really emotionally involved with it to look dramatic.  From what I read from the "winners" last year I can replicate that pretty easily.

That main essay I have to write for the biggest scholarship I have this weekend is too difficult for me.  I just was about to start and read over what my topic has to be and it's crazy.

"Have you solved a scientific, artistic, or technical problem in a new and unusual way?  Have you come up with a distinctive original solution to a problem faced by your school, community, or family?  Have you developed an innovative way to save the environment or improve people's health?"

Anything I can think of is way too petty.  It's like I have to have invented a whole new way of life or something dammit.  :\

I just got my English essay back Thursday too and I found out I got a 71 on what I thought was a pretty good essay I spent a lot of time on.  That doesn't help my confidence at all.

Just bombed an important math test right now. It's kinda difficult to study this stuff when an overwhelming sense of dread causes you to puke half the time.
I should probably stop giving my dad so much grief about constantly lecturing me on looking sick or not eating enough. This habit probably isn't healthy for me.

Why do detectives have this HUGE urge to confront criminals even when they know they are extremely dangerous.

It usually pays off... but for ONCE I've seen it handled somewhat realistically... I don't know what I am feeling... It was amazing.

I do have a question though.

In Japan do the police normally carry firearms or do they need to have a reason to carry it?
Someone pointed out that in the first Phoenix Wright game you confront at least 3 of the culprits directly and every time you would have been better off waiting for court to start.  Thankfully I remember it getting better as the series went along, and in one case I remember it being actually required.

Also funny enough in Ace Attorney Investigations all the police carry firearms and it actually comes up as a kinda important point for one part.

EDIT:
As I was reading episode 7 of Umineko I had a sudden revelation!

Wow that very last one makes Karkat look scarily similar to Munsu in Shin Angyo Onshi.

Before we know it we'll have a layer of meta settings with characters all having engaging parts in each layer all the way down to the bottom layer, reality.

I got a $5,000 grant for college and if I write an essay for this scholarship I have I'll probably get $20,000 for that.  Then I have a bunch other ones that are all lesser cash, but whatever I'll do that too because fuck it.

Still have to pay the $150 acceptance fee but ehehehehe not as hard.
