I knew that high intelligence score would come back to bite me...

377
I've got a better idea.

Use mind over matter to make a distraction behind them, like a faint tap on their shoulders that comes from me slightly moving their clothing.  Continue with such shenanigans until they're frightened off.

I'm pretty sure these guys will believe in ghosts, and that any help that they may call won't :)

Meta: Get up, look around, and stab the first hostile enemy that comes our way.

Fantasy: "Not much, you?"  Also, look around and make sure there's no guilty souls here.

By the way, Araph, you never said if the Deathbound Domain would be acceptable, or if the True Necromancer would be an appropriate Prestige Class.  Though looking at that wiki again, it seems they play a little loose with that prestige class.  This site has a version that's more true to the book.

a small wooden beside the bridge.
A small wooden what beside the bridge?

Head across the bridge.

Well if were just going to steal names from games, I suggest Dante.

For me, Dante can only be a name from literature, but that interpretation makes it ironically appropriate.  Still too high-class and sophisticated for an imp, however.

382
Now that ain't bad.  Small and simple.  Sounds Japanese, but ain't nothing wrong with that...I'll think on it.

Head towards the village.
You are now in a small village.
Just sayin...

Follow the others towards the castle, keeping track possible escape routs on the way, in case we need to make a quick getaway.

Tungsten.
Better yet, W!

In all seriousness, though, I'm an imp; the lowest of the low devils (and not in the evil sense of the word).  We cackle in a very high pitch, pose no trouble to your average adventurer, and have somewhat innocuous sounding names.  Stuff like Mascadoriel is just too much for a simple imp, and Wolfram is far to dignified.  Two syllables at most, and nothing too flashy.  Unfortunately, this is the complete opposite of metal...

When did we start with the whole "heavy metal" theme anyhow?

385
@Frelock: Your character sheet says you're a Quasit Cleric, so I went with that. Fixed in second draft. Also, for the record, it is difficult to make an imp named Meep sound metal.

My apologies.  That has now been fixed. Beautiful back-story, by the way.  If you would care to suggest another name for a more "metal" imp, I'm open to suggestions.

"I shall leave things up to those you, my friends.  We shall always find bodies to heal and darkspawn to kill.  Now hold still, this will only take a moment." Mending Moon opens his healing kit, and begins to patch up the wounded.

For an additional power, I was thinking something like: Small- three times per day and once per battle, Mending Moon can use his naturally small goblin size to appear less threatening.  This can either be used to make those attacking Mending Moon seek other targets, or can be used to avoid a single attack of opportunity.  Does not work if Mending Moon is the only target nearby.

387
Fair warning, that's gonna provoke an "attack of opportunity". Hopefully the creature will be dead by then!

Very well.  Watch me die!

This looks like fun.

Name: Bill Nye
Era: Future
-Brilliant: +1 to intelligence-based rolls
-Not a jock: -1 to strength and agility checks
Languages: Future English
Job: Mad Scientist
-+1 to creating "inventions"
-+1 to using own inventions
--1 to social interactions What do you mean you don't know what a jigawatt is?
Weapons: BFG 9001 (untested prototype), targeted telsa coil
Clothing: Lab coat, goggles, rubber boots and gloves, extra-dimentional backpack(to explain how he carries around a telsa coil with him...)
Bio: Bill Nye (named after the famous 20th century scientist of the same name), is an absolute genius.  He obtained 6 PhD's before he turned 20, in all the major scientific areas as well as advanced mathematics.  He didn't care for liberal arts or hitstory, though, so when Fred E. asked him to go back in time to restore continuity, Bill was not very enthusiastic.  However, he grudgingly went along, admitting he believes the past would be an excellent place to collect resources for his "inventions."  Secretly, however, it's because he believes the past would make an excellent testing ground for his new inventions...

Move in and heal Lone Wanderer.  Good, the beast is distracted, now its demise is not so urgent, and I can do what I am best at.

Sorry to bother you again, but I was reading through the Libris Mortis, and was also wondering if I could switch to one of the new domains listed in there.  I'd be trading in the death domain for the deathbound domain.  Here's the stats:
Spoiler: Deathbound Domain (click to show/hide)

Here are the spells the domain grants that are not in the core books (all are in Libris Mortis and are quoted exactly):
Spoiler: spells (click to show/hide)

One last thing, I was wondering if you could approve the True Necromancer prestige class (again from LM, though the book only allows Spell Focus(Necromancy) as it's feat requirement)
