From a gap within the air itself, a gap that opened upon a fiery layer of the Abyss, a demonic Quasit flew forth in the form of a bat as a tiefling marauder slithered forth through the shadows.

Just being completely clear, that Quasit isn't me, right?  I switched to an imp, which is technically a devil, not a demon.

Mystic Theurge is fine.

Tomb Tainted Soul: Approved. You can switch Weapon Finesse for that.
Much appreciated

Just a thought guys, since no-one's mentioned it yet.  Plan to get tomb tainted soul somewhere down the line.  It will really make my job easier.

EDIT 1:In fact, Araph, would you mind if I took that instead of weapon finesse for my character?

EDIT 2:Also, do you have the Libris Mortis book?  I think it's availible online for free, but I'm not sure.

Actually, a quick question for our DM that I forgot to ask earlier.  Is the Mystic Thurge an acceptable prestige class?

Mending Moon quickly glances between the Gourgaz and Sheltering Leaves.  He knows he could get to Leaves in time to administer some small healing.  But the Gourgaz was almost down, another arrow could do the trick.  Patient, or problem?  He knows the answer, but the fact that this question had to be asked so soon in the journey troubles him.  With a look of grim determination, he runs forward to an open shot and notches an arrow to his bow.  "Fly swift and true, and save my friend" he whispers to the arrow.

Get a clear shot, then fire off one of the Sommlending arrows at the beast's wounded head.

Pray to Poseidon to calm the damn seas.

No. We cannot just wait, the enxt person to step in could be a policement, a thug or at any rate someone able to defend themselves. By going into a bar, we will find people drunk enough not to oppose us.

We could also wander into a bar with a bouncer, or with the local sports team, or any number of belligerent drunks looking to get in a fight.  Ever heard of the term "bar fight"?  Those things happen, and are quite dangerous for a person without friends, especially if he pisses off everyone at the bar.  There's also likely going to be a large group of people willing to fight us.  Compare this to us in an alley, our own territory, and some poor sod on his own.  We'll have the benefit of surprise.  We could also hide should an extremely well-armed subject come along.  Alley lurking still has my vote.

Frelock responds with a smirk of his own.  "Of course, anything for an old friend."

Lighter for light, then go exploring.

Wit till some person on their own wanders by
I vote for this one.

Find more arrows, then fire off at the eyes again.

Frelock got it right, too, and he used sciency smart things.

That was just my thought process.  SCIENCEy things must involve, prisoners, mechanisms, pumps, or magma (ideally all four).

My most recent fort is named "Tubetown."  Not sure if that's lame or awesome...

The first guy had to make a weapon, so I'm going to guess that the second guy did as well.  As to aborting a potential tantrum, I'm going to assume you used them to boost the value of a room, implying that you put them in traps, so trap components are acceptable here.  I'm also going to assume you cheat as I do and forbid all metals besides candy when you saw a weaponsmith mood.  You also seem to imply that they're fairly useless, so it's obviously a weapon that deals blunt damage (as addy is horrible for blunt weapons).  You also said a couple of people were close, so I'm guessing "candy warhammer" is on the right path.

Final answer: Candy mace

Statues?
Addy statues are insanely valuable, and can make an overlapping noble's headquarters royal even with the overlap of dining room, office, and bedroom.

Maybe... but they're also very gradual. I'm pretty sure the effect of centrifugal force from the earth's orbit is so small as to be immeasurable (though that might just be because of gravity). It could also be that the designers of the ASHPD adjusted for the movement of the Earth, but obviously couldn't predict and account for movements in the environment.

Not quite immeasurable, but your second idea might be right.  Still, we're on the internets!  As if planetary science matters....

It could just be that changes in velocity disturb the portal and cause it to fail.

But, assuming apature labs is built on a planetary surface, there's always a change in velocity due to the rotation and orbit of the planet, and these changes are pretty significant.
