DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Elf You Count!

ignoring the fact that i get a message that my fortress and its surrounding lands have been made a barony (not a county as is proper for a count), I just got my first: Tax collector, Countess, Contess consort, Hammerer and dungeon master; all at once.

Yay...

So i decide to actually keep them alive to give me a reason to keep playing (where is zinc when you need it... stupid brass lovers) but when my dwarfs engraved his bedroom i got masterwork engraving along the following lines.

this is a ... of an elf and an elf. The elf is eating the elf. blah blah blah

Which i promptly sat my keyboard down and proceded to laugh for a good half hour then i look at her dining room. Appearntly i had a history buff for an engraver becuase he made tons of images of elfs eating dwarfs, dwarfs being struck down by carp; a local lion (which i caught and i think i'll put the cage in her room); bears; ect, dwarf starving to death, dwarfs dehydrationg...

I guess my dwarfs don't like nobility
