A pilot. For a supply lorry. But that's in the past. Go talk to the deserters. They're probably as tired as you are.

Warren is a good name. Maybe it's our new name. Anyways, yeah. Something on fire to the west. Best check it out.

The man nodded. "Yes,' he said "There are others like you there. About thirty others, of which maybe twenty speak English." Then, turning to Leon, he cautiously responded. "Well, we keep the heat up pretty high, but it's still going to be cold outside. So I hope you brought gloves."

The attendants dropped the gasoline hose triumphantly and nodded to the military man. There was a brief conference, then the two headed inside. "Okay, baggage on the bus. Let's get moving. I am General Grant and this is Captain Taiya. If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to ask. We will have a conference tomorrow morning after breakfast to explain the situation in depth." Captain Taiya pried the bus door open and sat in the driver's seat. The engine sputtered to life and the exhaust started giving off an enormous plume of grey-black smoke. After a moment, the general gestured for the group to board.

The snow began to drift into tiny little dunes in the lot.

The grey bus stood in the depot, a shiny, greasy and old looking vehicle. A somewhat hastily stencilled pair of crossed swords had been stuck on the side, and two men were wrestling with a gas cable near the rear. A light dusting of snow had just begun to fall when the group arrived from the airport. Two official looking types had met them: A women in a nondescript military uniform, rifle at her back, and a thin, salt and pepper haired man wearing the official uniform of the PALADIN initiative. As the bus was being fuelled, he turned to the group.

"Welcome to Russia, kids. We're in for a long drive. I hope everyone brought a packed lunch. If you have any questions, now is the time to ask them."

That's not really going to work. I really am sorry, but, the plot, the plot! You'd be relegated to a really minor role and that would kinda suck.

Aw. :( Sorry it's not workin' out, Taricus. SeriousConcentrate, it's cool with me. :)

Anyhoo - So what we have now is

Two pyrokinetics. - Leon, John
A technopath. - Leslie?

Fortis, you want to fill in the telepath gap, and in, say, twelve hours or so we'll get the game going? No obligations, play whatever kind of psychic you want. We've still got a few empty app posts waiting to be filled in but I think we can get started and have them arrive later.

Yeah, I'm sorry bout' this, Taricus. If you were an instructor you'd have a lot of information that the other characters wouldn't be privy to. Once you've responded to this post we'll wait for input from pokemonrocks85 for a bit and then get this ship a-rollin'.

Fill up socks, your personality stuff is A-ok.

Fortis, applications can go in either thread, you're fine too. Just delete the OOC post you made above your app.

Looking over the apps, I see a lot of people over the twenty mark, actually...

I suppose I should have made the OP a bit clearer, so it's really my bad, but these mysterious psychic powers only appear in teenagers for stupid plot reasons. We're going to need to cut down all you raring-to-go twenty year olds to a slightly lower number, or else we don't get to employ all those fun tropes you get with super-powered secret military high schools.

SeriousConcentrate's app is A-okay.
Fortis, all we need to do is trim the age a bit.
Taricus, this is going to suck but the military experience is a no-no, and age trimming is necessary here too. Sorry to be a douche.
Pokemonrocks, your character needs to be younger in addition to all the other stuff. Just come up with a teenagery age.

More in favor of the building watermills plan. Because we're actually equipped to do it, and yeah, messing with mega corps would be an...ill-informed decision.
