This is honestly why I avoid purchasing premium lasting more than a day.

That is an interesting thing I noticed too... Before this was even implemented I saw absolutely no cheaters at about the time halloween kicked in. It makes me wonder where they all went.

The interesting thing is these guys have seen use already in several titles, they have not been shut down so far as I know as of yet... And I have not heard anything about lawsuits actively taking place so far.

This is why I don't have much belief that they are actually that incompetent, or ill willed. I mostly find it a curiosity that such claims are made and as you can imagine, I'd rather avoid it if they are true to the point of the EAC developers lying through their teeth. Honestly most of the reason I'll be avoiding Robocraft for a bit is since the game appears to be having serious stability issues at the moment due to the program's implementation.

So apprantly this new 'roboshield' thing is Easy Anti Cheat. Looking over the robocraft forums has people suggesting that it keylogs and screencaps your computer, and publicly releases the information.

Now I'm wondering if these accusations actually hold any water, further in the thread I found this stuff they mentioned that the program only does so in competitive tournament settings. Other people mentioned how they were concerned with the program having the capability to do so at all and the potential for the terms of service to change allowing them to make wholesale use of such features at a whim against whoever they please.

Can anyone confirm that the program can or cannot actually perform this?

Honestly I have no idea how it happened, my guess is the host's game started getting glitchy somehow, she does run a number of mods but none of them should remotely do something like this.

That or it's a halloween easter egg.

Ground view from one of my friends.

Game is Payday 2. Before this we had a game with all cloakers. I don't know how we survived.

You want that thing to really climb hills? Toss on some downward facing thrusters and hold shift when climbing, it can even stabilize you on them for firing.

I've tried to build it to eat more fire than a railtank should really be taking, since medics tend to be... less than reliable; the chassis and superstructure supporting the guns/around the cockpit is all orange, and I've got cyan ablative in the front/green in the rear. Went with the 8-wheel pattern because 6 either feels unresponsive with only front steering (+ that's super-vulnerable; lose the front wheels and you're done) or way too twitchy and unstable with front+rear steering. With 8 it's stable, has great straight-line speed, decent handling, and if the front wheels are blown off, I can spin around and drive backwards.
Firstly, how many cubes between the back wheels and the pilot seat? Any tri-forcing?
That's really my primary concern beyond the potential for plasma splash bleeding through to the seat mount since it looks a little narrow back there.
The reason I focus on the wheels is because when any non-basic cube gets damaged by plasma, 80% of the damage converts into an SMG/railgun like algorithm directly onto the mounting cube and eats its way through your tank, and when plasma hits directly, it hits very very hard.

You don't have to be colorblind to get tripped off by the random pumpkins... I'm having a hell of a time not thinking they are tanks.

Kinda fitting though, it's keeping me on edge like the season should. 0P

Hmm. They definitely have some new anti-hacker stuff in place. Unfortunately, it's a bit...overzealous. I've been kicked from battles twice now for 'invalid data' coming from my machine, and I wasn't doing anything all that odd. Turning to fire my plasma behind me a bit too quickly, maybe? Not sure what it was upset about.
Judging by reports on the forums, it's catching people firing single plasma weapons, presumably since it reloads too fast.

Very likely a bug then... The railcannons have been plagued with problems for a while, some of which got fixed recently but I doubt they got everything. The game probably was frozen into thinking you were still moving, possibly much like how railcannons would get jammed if you lost one.

I'm actually curious, did you get your railcannons restored via nanos?

The crosshairs aren't going to be perfect because weapons do not account for their placement, they aim in the exact direction you are, resulting in a parallel firing line to your direction of aim unless you place your weapon precisely and aim in a very specific direction.

Yeah, It's still one of those things that in some small way pecks at the thought that they know how to design a game well. Never the less, they did make it where they are... It's just I hope they keep realizing some of the questionable decisions they have made like the repair system they chucked.
Stuff like the 20 second reload, tech point system, ranked vs standard battles, premium access to parts, their attempt to say they will 'experiment' with the concept of removing parts and then concluding their decisions on said experiment within one week... Stuff like this really makes me question sometimes.

I like it better when I can actually try out new and interesting ideas and not get punished for it.

Not everyone can be happy at the same time, but I feel not having that huge barrier to entry is better for a lot more people.

The weird thing is, I really meant >One< leg. It gets a ton of weird looks due to how it works. It usually just hangs by that leg from a cliff or pushes itself along on the ground like an inchworm whenever it isn't flying.

I'd imagine some of the weird looks come from it being tier 5 as well...
