one day a caravan of elves arrived at my fortress, as i suspected, they were ambushed when they were unloading their goods. they were slaughtered and i killed the goblins and took the stuff of the elves. i had to get rid of the shitload of cages so i decided to have a special arena fight.

1: A goblin(armed)
2: A (yes indeed) Raccoon
3: A wolf

the fight was short but funny. The raccoon and the wolf jumped the goblin and killed him.

but then the raccoon killed the wolf  :D

The weapon is built into a cliff side, facing the map edge (30+tiles away) so I can determine if: A - pressure does move creatures, B - how much, and C - can you rocket something off the map.


My next project: the Goblin space program.
As the railgun, but the pressure pushes the victim up. Test: to see if the top of the highest Z-level is solid. We might be living in a universe where the top of the sku is made of clear glass afterall.

i play this game for a week now.
but what i was wondering: people on the forums allways talk about it being a big challenge, i want a farm up before winter. i just got my farm up and running before SUMMER.

maybe i'm just missing something but i really want to know some more.  :D

then construct the mechanisms (3, 1 for lever, 2 for connecting) and dig the channel above the level of the floodgate.

i've just got my best settlement ever with 41 dwarves and i've got a nice drawbridge. There was an attack of 1 kobold which isn't much but i thought: "let's try out my defenses". so i ordered all dwarves to stay inside. but when my 4 soldiers(2 axe and 2 crossbows :(

i have this fortress with like 50 dwarves now and one they in year 3 when the dwarven caravan arrived, there was a goblin ambush. no prob, i thought. i was wrong. we could easily kill the goblins and as soon as the last one died i got the message there was an ambush and so on it hasn't stopped yet. and i use a perfectly mod-clean version of dwarf fortress. can anyone help me?

*PS* i thought gobbos only ambushed elven caravans?
