I literally pressed all the keys on my keyboard and nothing happens. Playing as a human in a village. Is it an unusable feature or what?

What do you think. I'd say it's a sort of good because sometimes my dwarves pick every single one at a distance and beat them to death with maces. And the results? Tons of metal objects waiting to be melted down.

Yes. I forgot to detail it in the OP. In the OP, I meant that I chose all of the options, except the materials, which is leather. Core quality, etc are all highlighted. What's the deal.

Here's something wrong. I've designated a metal ore stockpile. Nothing happens, as usual. About 2 seasons later, one dwarf tried walking across the map to pick up a platinum nugget. The heck?

Seriously, it isn't. I've selected 'finished goods' with the material 'leather' and they're not hauling. However, if i placed a 'finished goods' stockpile, every single dwarf starts hauling this and there. The hell's going on. On off switch? Bug? Something stupid i did? Help would be appreciated   :p

Well? Animals and dwarves are annoying me when they're wounded and doesn't go back to the base. Is the only way is through using the labor menu or is there another way?

Wouldn't it be better if you could select an object and then press a key to designate it to be decorated/encrusted? I heard the dwarf just decorates random objects

So it's gonna be some sort of Dungeon Keeper 3 with z-levels and physics. No prob. There's a lot of game engine with terrain deformation and mini ragdoll physics.

Yep. Wonder what would happen if, let's say, in 2011, the Dwarf Fortress game has been completed and rid of bugs and glitches. Let's say that someone is willing to purchase the DF story, etc and makes it into a fully 3D RTS game, fully crediting anyone who participated in making Dwarf Fortress and such. Maybe with the graphics of WoW. I'd say i'd buy it

Oh yeah, they actually use the depot as a stockpile. They brew the plants, craft the leather etc. Really annoying because it's a long way to do it. Or maybe the only way is to remove the depot?
