A server would be nice. The recent change to ore generation has sorta made that mod unplayable in singleplayer, where the surface is devoid of anything useful in terms of metals except the rare starter metal. I've had worlds where I spend every ten steps on new territory hitting the ground with the prospectors pick and scanning mountains to no luck.

There has been a pretty huge backlash at this so I hope the dev reverts this soon. I hear when you do come across a vein of metal it's like three or four chests of ore.

That new content being looking gorgeous and large swaths of the dungeon being changed. bosses are harder, mechanics work slightly different, etc. It's basically like the Spelunky remake, which is also completely and totally worth it.

Ah, okay. The Wikipedia article and previews I read gave me a different idea. Hopefully the mod support will also include a level editor, because playing Cave Story+ after beating the original was...  ::)

The beauty of Cave Story+ was the promise of a slightly different storyline/ending sequence.

Literally all they need to justify $10 from me to a game I love.

They're... SELLING La-Mulana? That can COULD be gotten for free from teh dev's site, albeit with slightly worse graphics? Oh what the fuck.

^How I completely feel. If you're going to sell me a free game for $15, at least have a ton of new content in there.

The Wikipedia page on the PC remake says that it added Hell Temple to the game... but I thought that was already in there. Then again, I hear it's going to support modding, so there's that.

There is a ton of new content.

And now, something for fans of the MobTalker mod

I actually have to commend this mod for looking pretty dang fantastic. It's not something I would use, but somebody with actual artistic skill went into this and made a good thing.

La-Mulana (english version JUST came out, check www.tigsource.com for details)

Holy shit that's actually out? I had no idea it was being ported at all still. I might need to look into that. La-Mulana is really pretty awesome despite the reputation it has.

Apparently the Wii stuff was falling through, so it just sorta went right along ahead to PC. From what I hear from people who have played it the game is a lot more difficult, but it also holds your hand a bit better in regards to clunkiness and not needing a guide. There is even a cute amusing video tutorial thing they made.

I appreciate people asking what I got when they find out my folks took me out for my 21st birthday and responding it's milk.

Ahahaha, no not yet the time to find out my limits.

And while the sermons don't show up in Skyrim or Oblivion, it's still in the same world. If Vivec was still alive there would be other crazy things going on. Although reading about his death is just as good.

I think the bit on metaphysics proves why Morrowind is and will be the best in the series.
I dunno, this is sorta like thinking the presence of the different races makes Morrowind the best. It's the same through the whole series. It's not a Morrowind exclusive thing.

Happy bastille day. I might head up to Baltimore to see the celebration they hold up there. It is a special day for me.

Quote from: The Thirty-Six Lessons of Vivec, Sermon 14
So Vivec, who had a grain of Ayem's mercy, set about to teach Molag Bal in the ways of belly-magic. They took their spears out and compared them. Vivec bit new words onto the King of Rape's so that it might give more than ruin to the uninitiated. This has since become a forbidden ritual, though people still practice it in secret.

Here is why: The Velothi and demons and monsters that were watching all took out their own spears. There was much biting and the earth became wet. And this was the last laugh of Molag Bal:

'Watch as the earth shall crack, heavy with so much power, that should have been forever unalike!'

Then a bunch of demons started rampaging and Vivec killed them with his dick. It's basically self-insert fanfiction.

"And then I totally banged everyone and killed the demons and saved the day and got blowjobs from everyone!"

And if you paid attention to the lore books scattered about, you'll know that

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

...Wait wait, what? Which books exactly? O.o

Time to get Dark Elf Supermage and visit my giant library and check all the books. Did I mention earlier that my Dark Elf Supermage had whole dwemer ruin dedicated for book storage? For example, I had complete selection of '36 Lessons' plus few books that I never found again (Book With No Name, or that theatre-play book about adventurers in jungle).

PS: Morrowind books FTW. I simply loved 'True Barenziah' and 'Poison Song' series.

There is a hidden message is the 36 lessons where Vivec outright states he killed Nerevar. Finding it can be hard, however.

It's hard to pick that from all the blowjobs going on

The fact that you could place anything anywhere and it would not disappear was sort of a design oversight, as this would eventually lead to instability on the X-BOX version due to memory being taken up. With the addition of more physics engine stuff and peoples weapons being disarmed I don't think you could get away without garbage collection.

And I think researching on the whole dragon crisis reveals that perhaps you shouldn't be doing this. You meet people that imply that the end of the world as you know it is possibly how the world should work. It isn't just evil dragons destroying the world, they were made by Akatosh to do this, and the world is fated to go through this.

People told you the weirdness of the plot and books reveal additional weirdness of your situation? Shat a shock from such a dumb game of Skyrim.

The primary reason I'm here is over a weird thing I noticed improving with myself. I have an acceptable typing speed for any possible use, but I have noticed that I've gotten faster over the past few days for no real reason. Things are just faster. Still have the same issue of typing the syllable I'm thinking of instead of what I have to type down for the word, but hopefully this speed boost challenges that.

Like antivirus programs you want several defrag programs, because they all cover slightly different parts of your computer the others don't. The windows one isn't terribly bad, but it can miss a lot of stuff if you only use it alone. After a while of using just Defraggler I use the Windows one just to clear out a few gigs of fragmentation.
