Has anyone used the Electromagnetic Unit? I just activated it and it seems to have frozen my game and I'm not entirely sure if it is actually doing something or if it has just crashed.

Mine has force closed a few times when exiting the @ screen, but auto-save means I don't lose much progress. I'm also not missing any saves.

Download both Cataclysm_win_SDL_1.3.6.zip and Cataclysm_win_patch_1.3.6a.rar and extract them both to seperate folders, then copy the .exe from the extracted patch folder and put it in the extracted SDL folder.
Either run the .exe or create a shortcut to your desktop.

This is assuming you're on Windows.

Edit: Does the pain from failing to install a bionic module ever go away or am I going to have to live off oxycodone until I die?

By the looks of it, it seems like a normal basement.

I got lost in a Lab and then got swarmed by zombie scientists. I'm lucky I ran in the direction I did otherwise I would've probably died to the turrets in the other direction. I'm loving this game. :D

Oh, I didn't clarify enough. My apologies but that was aimed at Whales.

@Whales; as a suggestion about the NPC debug spam, how about allowing the player to press ~ whilst the messages are displayed to stop all current debug messages?

Otherwise, this is a great game. Many thanks to Whales for the game and head for the Windows version.

Blue mentioned some fixes.
Quote
Eater of Words message has been corrected when he 'flees'. He will no longer list as 'Defeated'.
Night Owl Potion has been given its effect.
Hot-keys for Mana and Healing Potions now work correctly with Rejuvenation potions.
Dungeons should no longer spawn in the ocean.
NPC's who are far from home and attempt to return home, will no longer 'flip out.'

Oh, and this.

There's also some other stuff.

I think the Eater of Words ate the 'L'.

The Devs could easily make it so you can only take the normal max stack of items when you take things out of the chest and I think it'll go well with the new inventory management system thus eliminating extra item stacks being lost/bugged or what not.

220
You totally missed the point...

EDIT: He means it so you can store a lot more items in one chest. For example, you have a max stack of 3 for dynamite and so many item squares in a chest, with Neonivek's idea you could fit a lot more but still only use 3 at a time. It just allows larger storage in a smaller space.

221
Breadbocks, if you look at it like the max stack of dynamite is 3 but in that chest the max would be 99, it kind of makes sense and I doubt there would be any bugs cause you get get larger stacks through InvEdit.

The key effect of vile powder in this case was the creation of evil bunnies to slaughter the white ones en masse. I had to close the server without saving, because it wouldn't accept a new command until all ten million bunnies spawned - and since they don't despawn, that meant I couldn't easily get rid of them in any normal way except killing each and every one.

That's what the /butcher command is for. Kills all animals IIRC.
Nevermind, I didn't read properly.

I'm afraid I can't help any more. Out of curiosity, what resolution is your old laptop?

Have you got another laptop you can try the graphics card in? Cause if it works on another and not on yours then you know it's a problem with your laptop, if not then it could be the card itself.

I'd advise against manually removing registry entries, and if you do use CCleaner make sure you make a back-up of your registry when it prompts.
