Sounds good, might do another year this weekend and attempt the ancient tradition of dwarfing all those who drank before us. Seems that habbit died out at somepoint. Also there were multiple times were in one day three different people took a turn. True drunken madness

Update: I have finally sorted the 20 to 21 to 22 embark mess.

I had zero notice of the elfs, wasn't even our military just whoever was by the gate. I was too busy trying to figure out what was making each dwarf mad and trying to brighten the place up. Hoping now the king is appeased that he will be less stressed.

As for the murder pigeon, i was baffeled how the glorified parrot was killing so many.

Cheers, honestly its pleasure. Seeing the culture of dwarf fortress dunkards ten years ago is fascinating and the interesting tales/tangents that unfold. I think it would be criminal to not document every turn and to not keep the tradition alive. The fact that current active save was created in 2019 and has only 12 turns is somewhat saddening to see its decline. As im reaching the end of 2014, it is very much alive two years into the threads life.

I hope we get some more turns for this 10 year old dwarven tradition. But this is just the thoughts of a drunken scholar.

I awoke in the night, the horrors. Dark goings on in the world. My mind floods with images of a slab, armies of undead and horrific creatures twisted into humanoid form. I need to get out there.

I travel from hamlet to hamlet, city to city preaching the glorious word of Osed.

I lead sermons to enhance my gods belief in the people

My visions started to come true, i saw a goblin warband fighting in a hamlet as i fled

The people continue to listen

I overhear tales of adventures and a fortress

I make my way there to see a wartent and ambush set up, i sneak past sleeping capyfighters.

I meet an elven bard and start to chat when they launch their attack

My teeth knocked out, beaten and bruised i start to prey to Osed

Osed hears my prayers and someone enguages the capybara warband, the residents fight back

My nose bleeds, my body aches and I faint from it all.

Ah i see, well this save is still on 47.05 currently as its not moved to the latest version. Looking forward to the Adventure mode update.

Just got through 2014 mostly. Checked my notes and ammended some mistakes i had made. Currently on Embark 17 for documentation i wonder what our current embarks number will be when I catch up to current day.

Currently updating it now, i have finally reached some of your turns. Yeah its a shame it was, a few of the saves are lost due to private hosting and a livestream of drunkfortress. Might need to do that at somepoint.

The fortress is not doing well seems there is more people unhappy than happy. The king is stressed, demanding better accomedation

brewer stressed seems being injured and haunted by ghosts, will improve
SalmeukII stressed, Big family but is on the mend, ghosts had them worked up
Uvash the dogfighter (our king) - Dinning room not up to standards, addressing this. Additionally also unassigning designation of the old rooms that his consort owned
as they keep going to those.

The royal crypt wasn't up to standard, ammending no burial recepticle

No wonder parts of the military are stressed, someone assigned them to be stationed on the surface. No time to relax, pray or anything. Everyone take a break.

Riving the our kings quarters, we need to give him items of value. Poor quality statues litter the rooms, a quick fix to make value but we have the resources and time
to fix this.

Another dark force, wiped away like it was nothing

Moving the masterwork cheap statues around the fort to boost morale as the gold statues are put into place

Ran out of gold and making steel statues

Finally appeased the king and now he is not happy, wants symbols of his position.

And all the nobles are good, assigned a bunch of artifacts to our ever demanding King. But atleast he is off our back

The green shrine is now a temple complex perhaps this will attract pilgrims of our jade cult

The cave creatures are killing us, sending the military to wipe

The elfs have attacked

Didn't get much done yesterday but done some more today. Currently on embark 11, its a shame that some of the image hosting for some users posts is lost. Embark 11 is looking pretty spicy

HOLY SHIT. A fishery worker just fucrakng couhgt fire. I don't know how. It was ni the asame place as the miner, though. Like, he just walked along the edge of the volcano, and then POOF. Fucking !!fishery worker!!

...oddly, it's only the fishery workers' right mitten that is on fire. But even though I forbitd it, he still insists on wearing it.

even in death, the dwarf insists upon good fashion. :(

This is... curiosu. The fisherdwarf with the flaming mitten emits no smoke, and the itten hasn't degraded at all... nor has the dwarf asually sufferend any injuries. I'm not sure what to think here.

I'll be finishing soon. The enxt overseer will have to deal with (and possibly weaongisnze0 thiks perpauslly on fire wdar.f

Not too sure, it's solve now. Just need to upload the save. It's either a dwarf got stuck in a tree and it's pathing lagged me out or the massive group of cave swallows that flew into the cavern's

I like how there are two dwarven gods of different nations, both female, one of jewels and our one of jewels and minerals. Really adds depth to the world. Turn post soon.

For some reason, perhaps due to the previous worlds not lasting as long, Renofox starts a new gen and almost gets someone to start a 2nd turn on this world before people are pulled back upon the current one. After clearing this up the original embark 6 save continues. I imagine this is why its so hard to keep track of it. This is also where perhaps being drunk, saves being poorly named and not updating the title lead to people thinking turn seven is turn 4.
