Yeah, you can get demons based on creatures not found elsewhere in the raws, like asses or stegosaurs.

For me, it was probably the enormous four-horned goats.
Most eerie, though, is the Fiend of Snow, an enormous spiral-shelled scarab made from snow.
Most pathetic goes to the towering, scaly, winged leeches. No way of attacking, nor any eyes ot see with.

I got it! repeted strangulation after a while will eventually snap the neck like in metal gear,

That's pretty cool. I'm going to go try that with a giant, like Ninja suggested.
I think it was a suggestion for a change, not a statement of how the current version works.
Right now, the closest you can get is pinching people's heads off.

Yeah, that was actually the case in 40d. Though it was less "strength" and mroe [SIZE]. Again, I have no idea what factors go into wrestling now.
Size is, if anything, even more important in the new version. Try taking over a giant in arena mode and wrestling anything.

you could technically break someone's neck with your left lower leg.
That's not totally unrealistic, you know. Except you'd have to use your whole leg to get a proper grip.

As for whether caverns are bounded, my wanderings in adventure mode lead me to believe that there's an enormous labyrinthine cavern system stretching beneath the entire world.

I mean, this is just ridiculous. Their assigned weapons are picks. They're set to wear their uniform even when inactive.
An antman enters the fortress. I give them a kill order. I wait, wait, wait, oh there they are, time for that antman to go down, EXCEPT THEY'RE PUNCHING IT.
I check their inventory. Sure enough, no picks.
I check the weapons stockpile.
.
.
WHY. YOU'RE %&¤#!ING LEGENDARY MINERS, YOU IDIOTS. YOU'VE NEVER WRESTLED IN YOUR LIFE! JUST HIT IT WITH YOUR GIANT PICKS!

And now I'm down two legendary miners, and the antman is still there. Eurgh.

So, I just got a strange announcement from an unexplored part of the underground.

Stākud Ikulbomrek, Swordsdwarf has entered a martial trance!

He stops trancing a little while later.
I order my miners to dig me a path over there, and on arriving, all I see is a bunch of hostile antmen and their food.
No swordsdwarf, no blood.
Very strange.
