A bit too much of the ol' sauce on saturday - over about 6 hours I went through 5 pints of ale, a third of a bottle of Maker's Mark and half a bottle of red wine. Not doing that again. In future, I'll stick to drinking in pubs and bars. Felt lousy all of sunday, and I'll likely cut out drinking until saturday.

I am not nearly drunk enough to cheer up, but I wasted my only bottle of beer getting here.

it is goddamn Grand Hipster Station.
I wonder if there is a Grand Hipster somewhere in the world?

Finally got a job interview, and apparently with this particular company that's a dead-cert job, for summer at least. No more being a poor, introspective mope, and no more running out of drinking/gaming/music/book money. I am going to roll down to the pub tonight.

Went clothes shopping in the Czech Republic today.

Finding pants when you're short and chubby, is a real pain.
Also the trend of using buttons instead of zippers pisses me off, especially when they're on pants which actually fit.
Tall and slim is also a pain. Also button-up flies were invented by the Beast to piss us the hell off.

1. Intelligence - by this I mean intelligent in various ways. I know what I mean, feh.
2.Compassion - woo cliches
3. Willingness to buy me drinks when I've used all my money. Really this should be at the top but I though of it last.

Apparently, one of my friends was in last night and his mum was having a glass of red wine, so he just strolled through the kitchen, shouted "I AM ROBERT BARATHEON" grabbed the bottle and just sort of... DOOK DOOK DOOK.

He's a pretty crazy guy.

Someone called me a hipster for liking real ale and being a member of CAMRA. Words fail me.

There is no booze in the house, and I need to save my money for the next month. Fuck.

Which is why I can't stand PBR, Coors, Miller, Bud Light....I can taste the fucking can. It's like a pilsner that someone has stripped 80% of the flavor out of so you can pound 3 back in 5 minutes.

Can or not, I fail to recognize Bud Light as even being beer. I'm not sure what it is, really. Its taste doesn't really offend me that much, but it doesn't taste particularly good, either... it's just some kind of weird, bitter icewater.

I like wheat beers. Nice and frothy, like liquid bread.
<3 wheat beer. Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier augh so nice. Or Schneider Adventinus.

Viking Metal for the win!

I refuse to call any band singing in English viking metal.
It goes against everything viking metal stands for.
Here, have some vikings singing in their native tongue.

Technically those are singing in modern swedish. I won't acknowledge anything as "viking metal" unless they sing in proper old norse.

I think this is in an old form of a scandinavian language.

Sounds and looks like modern Norwegian.
