Wasnt there something about collapsing a section of ice to make water, hence mud, hence farming?

A white marble block dragon (ranging across 9 z-levels from the tail to the wing tips), with orthoclase claws, that wrapped around my circular lava lake. It's tail, resting in the lava, contained screw pumps which drew the lava up through it's body to dump out it's mouth over my entrance (if I opened the floodgates).


I got it 3/4 complete, then Toady released the 39 series, and I didn't port it across.

1 square can hold a seed or 400 dragons, it doesnt matter. Although I like to think of them as metre cubes (1x1x1 metres)

You could only light it when it rained or something using magma to light it and a booze stockpile. Im definately going to have to try this, now I need cliffs, by the ocean, with magma. Im going to absent for the next hour looking for this place arent I?

Also it will be impossible to have a flying fortress with them, I tried it with my valkyries and all that happens is that they walk two steps and complain of dangerous terrain because theyre flying, cancelling all jobs

Please tell me if I am being stupid here. What kind of numbers do you need to put in for the grid and windowed size to just get the original sized tileset and see more of it?

Oh and im running on (1280X1024,) if that matters at all.

Your race has no mouth, hence cant breathe. Try adding ":MOUTH]" to the end of your body section
