Nope, Umiman has it dead on. Since this key revoking forces sales through Steam, I'd wager Activision sold the keys, and Valve revoked them.

Umiman: I don't know any myself, but apparently there are stores that buy keys in bulk and sell them for a little less. More common in some countrires than others, like Russia, Asia, or otherwise for LAN cafes.
They bought the keys legitimately in bulk, so no part of this was illegal.
People who legitimately bought these keys are now without the game and can only shell out another $60 to play again.
Since this undercuts Steam prices, they decided to revoke all keys bought this way with no warning. It's no small amount of players that have been screwed.
Sucks how the business has changed, eh?

Hope nobody bought this game outside of retail or Steam.

Anyone who bought from a CD key vendor, and using the key to activate on Steam is having their games revoked. Ouch.

I've been wanting to do all artifact equipment for an adventurer in a world for a while.

It's really easy to get a specific piece of equipment that you want on the first artifact of a fort. Involves a bit of savescumming around the time you get 20 dwarves. First migrant wave or second. Dunno if that matters.

I was going to make 5 forts for each artifact (that wasn't a lone boot or gauntlet,) and have someone claim all of them.

I'd do one, but to make an interesting dungeon? I'll have to draw it out on paper first.

I can help in one great way for sure. Pressure plates DO NOT work in adventurer mode. Doesn't matter if you turn the init option ON, and no it doesn't help to re-gen. They simply do not work. We've tried.

Options are to make levers, or hide a flood of water behind a door for the adventurer to break the door down (or pick the lock haha.)

Here is a link for a thread that did almost the same thing, just without the artifact focus.
There's a save in there with a world of quite a few player made dungeons that are awesome.

Apparently, whole new multiplayer modes are being found through the console commands.
Future DLC that was already in the game?

(Sorry if this is inappropriate to game discussion)

The King of Dragons.

An awesome SNES/arcade beat em up with level ups/equipment upgrades, and one of the characters is a dwarf!

I'm with Sergius on that one.

My Mordecai is close to his level and that gun would rape every enemy where I am for at least a week :D

The 6th year of Drivenroof saw the fall of 7 goblin local leaders, and the capture of one.

The goblin Macelord is now the main attraction of our brand new zoo :D

But yeah, I'm taking a break from Borderlands in favor of DF.

Would like to play MP when I start up again.

My legendary axedwarf, Tekkud Bridgetouch the Incidental Memory of Boats, just fought off a goblin siege all on her lonesome.

When the siege started, both Tekkud and Olon Roofsquare, a champion wielding Warmgalley the Inky Mysteries, an iron mace, and protected by The Ankle of Apexes, an iron shield, were asleep.

The dwarves under them, some champions, some not, didn't know what to do. They ended up charging into the crowd of Gobbos one by one. Worn down by ten gobbo wrestlers, organs pierced by 3 marksgobbos, and cut by the leading swordmaster, guarded by 5 axegobbos, they failed. A good fight was put up, but exhaustion claimed them in the end.

Tekkud now woke up to realize half the military was now dead, including her lover, and squadmate. Being awake, she finally ran towards the station I had set up, while Olon snoozed away.

She ran into the crowd headfirst, and killed two of the wrestlers with little more than a glance. Her attention was then however turned towards the swordmaster. The two became locked in an epic duel, while wrestlers started tearing her clothes away (pervs.) A bolt managed to find a way into her stomach, and Tekkud immediately began to vomit. She recognized trouble, and took off into the woods.

The goblins chased her for three days, but never caught up because she was perfectly agile, and vomited on the run. After the third day, Tekkud's stomach wound closed up, and she turned right around to face the menacing invaders again.

She STEAMROLLED them in a display I can't hope to describe. 20 goblins, along with the swordmaster, all lay dead, the rest fleeing.

Olon finally woke up, and strolled over to find an unconcious gobbo survivor, and flattened his head. How heroic, Olon.

2 kills for the dual artifact holder, Olon.
32 kills for little ol' Tekkud.

Edit: She doesn't care about anything anymore, and now never leaves ecstatic.
Spoilered pic.

I found the contents of a scuttled wagon on the roof of a human fortress. Knowing how valuable the anvils were, I picked each of them up. Being way too heavy, I was forced to throw them over the side of the building.

If only one could have hit a peasant or something. One did manage to land on top of a tree and stay there, damn it.

I've found dwarven leaders in the following places.

-fighting Rhesus Macaques outside
-dead next to a group of Rhesus Macaques
-outside near the fortress
-in the plaza on the top of the fortress
-in a room on the first level of the fortress
-in the hallways of the fortress
-in a room on the second level of the fortress
-in a room on the third level of the fortress
-in the basement of the fortress
-dead in the basement of the fortress
-dead and in my inventory
-dead and flying through the air at the hands of a legendary thrower
-in magma

Hahaha, welcome to the forums, you'll fit in nicely.
