"Puttin' it off until the last minute clearly. Though, protection detail... They staying in house too or do we gotta play night watch on the streets in case th'Juku come out to play before the concert starts?" Briar asks, tearing himself away from his current work at last as Javier comes in with the important news.

"A bite a'int bad. Where we rolling to? One of the local shops yah know, or are we going on feeling?"

Briar had finished his practice with the other EUFON people already, and was mostly hanging around to fiddle with Fire Soul's audio equipment in their training room. He was impressed, a lot of it was as good or better quality in his eyes than the stuff he had back at the previous base. He was at most examining, however. He knew this wasn't his house, and he also knew how damned annoying it is when someone toys with his gear without warning. So for now he was just looking it over like a classier man might look at an art exhibit or a museum display: respect, fascination, and absolutely no touching without permission.

"We got told we work here now. Home base got trashed, so we're crashing here instead. You'll be seein' a lot of us I guess, on and off the stage." Briar says, hoping to at least ease some of Abbie's headache with a straightforward answer this time.

"Save for other Amanojuku. Safe to say they got human buddies working with 'em, either under their thumb or at their side. Who knows which." Briar says with a shrug. Why they were working with them wasn't really a concern for him, just the fact that they were. There was enough of a mess with just the Amanojuku, having them team up with stupid humans just made it worse.

"Wait, totaled? How'd it get totaled without anybody getting hurt? Did the buildings melt or something?" Briar asks. Even if it was a suspiciously well funded governmental base, of course they had non-combat trained staff on hand. If the entire place was wrecked, what had even happened? "All my crap was there too. Guess that's gone... Dammit."

"Well, just let me know whenever you need a hand with the fam. I'll be there for yah both, no matter what. S'part of the job and part of the crew, yeah?" Briar says cheerfully.
