Congratz Sean. Dont kill us all please with your mad ideas :P
I bore deep into The Earth (ie Sean) to find the adamantite deposits and merge with them (merge as in not absorb them into me to make a bigger golem, but me being absorbed into it to control all adamantite on/in Earth (ie Sean, i'll never get tired of saying that...). I also think that adamantite is the most likely candidate for Sean's solar-sail ears...

Action 2 - To screw with the Pacificans, and everybody else, even more, I'll offer Russia a deal to form an oil cartel with Texas.  Then we can threaten embargoes or price hikes against our mutual foes.  I don't trust a Russian farther than I can throw him, but it's good business.

yay, i accept the deal! i'll put up an embargo action next turn. also, dont worry, i dont trust you either :P

Nah. I have, for example, the feeling that knowing English helps my French a lot, since a lot of words are similar. It probably depends on how similar the languages you know are. I'm tetralingual. Meheh: English, French, Dutch, German, some very basic Russian and some very basic Spanish. Don't ask how that Russian part sneaked in.
Ja gavaroe four talen. Et Sie?

i know English, French, and Arabic. i guess English and French do complement each other, but adding Arabic into the mix messes all my languages up pretty bad :P

Exactly how well can you speak Norwegian, and do you find yourself becoming more fluent? It would be pretty cool to be bilingual when you're finished, I guess.

i think that the more languages a person knows, the more annoying it becomes. I speak 3 languages, and because of that, i subconsciously switch words from different languages while speaking, making my chatting with anyone that doesnt know these 3 languages hard.

also, when one knows many languages, it's hard to actually know a single language well. For me, i feel that in all 3 languages, my vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc... is limited and sometimes quite horrible, simply because i dabble in all languages but master none.

if we continue like this, everyone's gona have -10 reputation in a few turns... oh well, my actions:
1) I send a large platoon of tanks into Canada to take over its northern portion.
2) I infiltrate the California Commonwealth with spies that propagate propaganda!

i for one have read all of this from the beginning, and it has been fun to do so. i'm not sure why... i guess its just nice to know how foreign countries are and stuff...

2052

it's hadron without the 'y'

and from wikipedia:
In particle physics, a hadron (pronounced /hæːdɹɒn/, from Greek ἁδρός, hadros, thick) is a bound state of quarks.
Darnit. You beat me to it.

Are there any subatomic particles that aren't hadrons?

there are subatomic particles that are not hadrons, simply because they are not made up of quarks. obviously, one of these particles are the quarks themselves. other than that, the electron is also not a hadron, its from another 'family' of subatomic particles, the leptons.  the lepton family also includes the muon and the tauon. ...

i could go on and on copying stuff from wikipedia, but i think that's enough to show that there are MANY particles that are not hadrons.

knowing that adamantine is to be found somewhere in the Earth, i wait for Sean to absorb a large part of it then bash and punch him to absorb the adamantine from him. if he doesnt manage to absorb the Earth, i bash him just because i feel like it :P EDIT: dont forget Sean has a -2 to dodge
