DF Suggestions / Make map keyboard scroll speed adjustable

The step-size of the navigation via WASD is a bit awkward, it always seems to move in a way where I can only see half of the room that I actually want to see. Hit W, see upper half, hit S, see lower half. I like to play on the Steamdeck, so the smooth scrolling, while somehow possible, isn't a true alternative here.
