Does anyone know if Hearts of Iron III Complete includes each and every single DLC?

Also it seems it's not activateable on Steam. While I love Amazon, I prefer to have my games centralised on a single platform.

My bad, nenjin. Didn't think off searching the topic before I created a new one. Anyway, mine is locked so all discussions will continue here.

Had a chance to play for 40 minutes last night and the game indeed surpassed my expectation. Here's my brief first impression. Writing this at work so please pardon the lack of structure or grammatical mistakes.

Graphics
The graphics looked much better than in the videos, somehow. And the art style of the characters and buildings? I am loving it! It reminds me of Borderlands, fits well with the humourous presentation of post-apocalyptic world. I like the scout character model the best. The animations also look great, although not as "satisfying" as Torchlight II.

Gameplay
I haven't done enough combat to say much about this but the combat itself seem simplistic with only 6 skills to use. I think it's designed that way so you don't get overwhelmed by the fast pacing of the combat by having to control three characters (instead of one, ala Diablo) on real-time basis (instead of turn-based or pausable like X-COM or Jagged Alliance). When you level up you do get more access to higher level mercenaries that you can hire.

Verdict
For $15, you get early beta access and free upgrade to Collector's Edition. After launch, they will introduce multiplayer co-op mode that allows seamless integration between online and offline play, schedule for release on 10 July. I'd say go for it!

Plus the developer is indie! :)

Is it any good so far? I am very tempted to preorder this.

EDIT: I bought it. The gameplay videos are convincing enough. Will tell you my impression once I get the time to play it.

Hello guys,

This game just got my attention. Below is the description on Steam and here is alpha gameplay video.

Spoiler: About the Game (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Key Features (click to show/hide)

My initial thought: Interesting take on action RPG because you're controlling three characters instead of one. I also like the setting. However, the combat itself does not seem to offer anything new. What do you guys think?

EDIT: Found their official website:

Hey guys, I bought The Plentiful Paradox Package and I got this message from Amazon:

Congratulations, your order of "The Plentiful Paradox Package" has qualified you for a $23 promotional credit good towards the Digital Download versions of "Europa Universalis III Chronicles". This credit may be used once for $23 off this game from until 7/2/2012. To redeem your credit visit:

http://www.amazon.com/Europa-Universalis-III-Chronicles-Download/dp/B004SCRFZE/

EU III Chronicles include:

Europa Universalis III: Chronicles also brings the expansion packs Heir to the Throne and Divine Wind to retail shelves for the first time, deepening the experience and extending an already robust playing time.

Also include are the previously released expansions Napoleons Ambition and In Nomine

The price is $29 so less the $23 it is down to $6! It's a steal I'd say. I am just wondering if I can activate this on Steam since there is no mention of it on Amazon page.

The next beta weekend coincides with Queen's Birthday public holiday in Australia? I smell conspiracy.

Goddamn I'm regretting buying Sword of the Stars 2.

This is just obscenely horrible. I heartily recommend everyone who hasn't wasted his money on it to not get it.

Same here, mate. Even after all the updates it still feels clunky and unpolished. I will be sticking to Sword of the Stars 1 for now.

Too bad they rushed Sword of the Stars 2, that game had huge potentials...

SoTS2 runs like shit on my gaming laptop... I can normally max out any games. I guess it's still unoptimised.

Just got the Paradox package, too bad too late for Football Manager 2012.

Fake billing address FTW!

OMG that tip of changing to US address is God-sent. Will be getting Paradox one and Football Manager 2012 tonight!

So far The Muffin Sisters or whatever I named them work really well. They steamroll any brave rats and ferrets in their way, lol. What skills are required for politics? Can you please elaborate?

Good idea and I just tried it.

But the page states:

Downloading: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address.

And I am paying with Australian credit card.
