It's thanks to you mentioning imgbb that i got the idea to use it :))
Anyway, something should be done to preserve the earlier chapters together with their images. I think the guys over on the hall of legends thread are working on preserving certain threads.

Imgur earlier on, but at least the latest update uses PostImg.cc, which has it's own problems, because nowadays it downscales pictures severely. I used it when posting my art before, because Imgur converts to JPG which destroys the quality of fine detail. Ultimately, the effect is the same—a loss in detail. Currently it's looking like imgbb might be the best one...

What i'm not worried about are the cultists, but rather the woman on the table turning out to be some monster in disguise. However, weighing the options, i'm willing to take that risk, because if i'm wrong i will have let an innocent person be sacrificed by cultists. With that decision made, it's time to think of tactics.

If i rush in head first, i'll be surrounded. If i attempt to perform the standard doorway choke maneuver, i fear i'll give them the time to perform their vile sacrifice. Therefore, i need to advance into the room.

As such i feel that this(X) is the best position to advance to, as it will expose me to least angles of attack while allowing me to threaten the squares on that side of the altar. Having a shield and armor should provide adequate protection from any stray dagger hits. Not to mention, their weapons are shorter, giving me a distinct advantage.

Advance to X and begin stabbing cultists with my sword.

Attack the Blazeglob, the Fiery Explosive Volcano Slime!, and sacrifice the Cheese Slime, letting it take the counterattack from the boss instead of me.

(see what i said about my luck? While neither of us might have died, i still consider you the winner in this instance- because holy shit, this luck. Three 1's in 4 turns. That's gotta be a one in a few hundred thousand bad luck.)

i accept being thrown into the slime wall- and begin to infest it. Maybe regaining a few HP?

ha ha. I legit only attacked you because you attacked my perfectly fine slime. If you had changed your action then, i would have as well. I was just going to quit the game quietly, but at that moment—i decided: Fuck it. Lets go out in a blaze of glory!

(though, knowing my luck with RTDs i'll roll a 1, (somehow) trip over and die without you ever getting a hit on me. :P)

Shank Horizon. Also, I'm setting permadeath ON for myself. If i die this time, that's it for MoldStrif3. I spent too much time on that monstrosity, only to have it be entirely undone by 2 crit failures back to back.
