It is 5 damage per turn if on lowest power.
(Yep, exactly the same as my melee attacks, but also can't be dodged. I mostly came up with this because Velklin kicking his enemies doesn't make sense to me character-wise :P)

257
Well that isn't what i meant to do at all.
Put my monstrosity back together and reinforce it so that it can't break apart again.

(So, you're actually back! I thought this game was vulture-food.)

Rubbing his aching shoulder, Velklin whimpers at the pain of it, having somehow miraculously avoided bursting into tears when he dislocated it. "Owwww... that was bad idea... a really, really bad idea. T-thanks, Geshemblos, for helping me out there." Velklin says, panting and squeezing his eyes shut. He opens them to look at Geshemblos and pet him. "Guess that means i'll never be a decent fighter... I'm just not cut out for punching and kicking." He says, punctuating his sentence with a little laugh before continuing. "I think i'm hurt more by my own punches than my opponents." and laughing a bit more afterward.

"But then i'll need something i can use instead of them." He ponders. He continues to do so for quite a while, whilst continuing to rub his shoulder. After a while, Velklin speaks again. "Okay, i' think i've got it! I'll need a basic spell, something that doesn't cost much mana, and doesn't miss- and can be multi-cast to deal more damage. Hmm..."He trails off, scratching the back of his head. "I think that should be pretty easy... Okay! Time for some spellcrafting! to make my new default attack- [Luminous Dart]!"

"But just because i'm no good at melee, doesn't mean i have to stand still and be vulnerable!" Velklin says, trying to strike an athletic pose, but winces as the pain in his shoulder flares up again at the sudden motion. Sighing, he slumps slightly. "Okay... I should be more careful this time. I know! I'll use the telekinesis to lighten my body and amplify the forces themselves, rather than powering up my body directly! That way, maybe i can move faster and jump higher! And that way it'll be easier to dodge attacks!"

Before he could get to doing any of that, though, Velklin notices Lemmy looking curiously at a shard of some kind. Recognizing it as a shard from the obelisk, Velklin begins to outright tremble with excitement. He runs up to Lemmy and exclaims "Wait-! You actually got a fragment from the Obelisk!? Lemme see too!" Though, he quickly tries to return to his more meek self, his face turning red. "Sorry... I hope you didn't have to endure too much pain to get this. But really, please... Let me look at it too." Velklin pleads. Though, he visibly struggles to contain his excitement.

Action Recap
Action 1: Inspect the shard that Lemmy got from the obelisk.
Action 2: Craft [Luminous Dart] to be my new default attack. A magic caster really shouldn't have to engage in melee combat...
  • Luminous Dart
  • Default attack with no mana cost. Launches a magical dart that strikes unerringly, dealing 5 damage per dart. Additional darts can be created, consuming 5 mana per 2 darts.
Action 3: Try to use Telekinesis to increase my speed, using a different method than last time, focusing on altering the forces involved.

(Yes, i know exactly what i'm asking for here. A multi-cast attack that scales linearly with the amount of mana i have, capable of dealing 105 guaranteed damage in a single combat turn at current stats, at the cost of all of my mana. Its actually slightly weaker than [Blazing Sun] for the amount of mana spent, in exchange for being able to deal all the damage at once. I don't feel that this is overpowered. Melee fighters' damage scales with their strength anyway, and they don't actually have to spend any resources to deal that damage, per turn. I think this is fair, since i put nearly all of my points into my magic ability. I just want that to be my primary damage stat, too, as strength is for melee fighters.)

Okay. I guess a ""Perfectly Fine"" Mold Spider Slime Agglomerate is a thing that exists now.
It is terrifying.

Clean up my mess and destroy the remaining Basic Slime

260
Since we can magic wood couldn't we get the best of both by using magic to twist the two staffs together, which would make it stronger and also get us the abilities of both.

Now that is a good idea! Lets do that! Oak and birch then?

261
The physical strength of the wood doesn't really matter, since we have magic that can repair it should something happen. Plus, the way we weave the wood with magic will make it stronger anyway. I'm thinking we take the birch stock.

262
Sometimes overwhelming success is failure. Oh well, since i've made my bed, i might as well lay in it.

Now you, Basic Slime, shall become MY ASS! (Take over and join Basic Slime onto my Perfectly Fine Mold Crab Slime body to create the ""Perfectly Fine"" Mold Spider Slime Agglomerate)

263
I would love to join in on the slime-killing bonanza but my body is not yet complete.
Buy the knife for 2 slime coins, scurry out of the shop, proceed to make cuts in the slime wall looking for a Poison Slime or something equally basic.

264
Wonderful! Scurry into the shop and proclaim 'I require knife!'

265
Kick the door, then decide my next course of action based on what's behind it. If it's a human in chains being dragged; rush in with sword drawn. If it's a big monster or demon; back up and into the room on the left, also with sword drawn.

266
Fake?! FAKE?!! It's a perfectly fine Mold Crab Slime!

Anyway, heal up myself and the perfectly fine Mold Crab Slime that is my host body.

267
Grow a hard shell around my procured Regular Slime out of mold, as well as some appendages for nominal locomotion over land and for the manipulation of objects; become MoldSlimeCrabStrif3.

We're not at the absolute top of accursedness yet- but we're getting there.

268
(Okay, wonderful. We have everyone's actions now. Blackpaladin is probable no-show. Hasn't posted anything for a week now.)

269
This is getting a bit ridiculous. It reminds me why i don't play RTD's lol.

Try again to merge with a regular slime and become the MoldSlime

Su Lin considers the predicament. It seemed that Ornos and Geshemblos were once part of an entire pantheon, but they couldn't recall who the other members were at the moment. Perhaps Velkin's Minor Wish ability could bridge the gap? Su Lin felt it was worth mentioning to him.

"Y-yeah... I think i could do that-" Velklin begins, sitting on the ground, facing Su Lin, with Geshemblos coiled around his forearm - following it with "But making wishes makes me tired... Remind me again when we find another one of those obelisks or something like them."

He leans back, turning his head to look at Lemmy, who is in the process of disembarking the ship, again, to presumably mess with the obelisk some more. "I don't think we need to wait for him..." Velklin says in a kind of a soft, sympathetic tone, then sighs "If he touches that obelisk, he'll die again. And then just respawn back on the ship. I wish he would stop hurting himself- but i don't think he will." closing his eyes, then slowly opens them once he's finished.

"At least I learned some things about the obelisk... I'm gonna write it down, so i'll have some notes for later-! but i already have some ideas...!" He says, becoming more  enthusiastic with each word. "Y'know- This noosphere nonsense isn't my area at all - the magic of True Gods is a ton more logical weirdly enough - but i think i'll need to create something like the obelisk, if i want to do what it does. That's why i'm writing it down!"

Finally stopping, Velklin looks Su Lin over, noticing that the cultivator has apparently put on some (more) muscle and cringes slightly. "Umm... Were you doing pushups the whole time everyone else was down in that hole? We... Really kinda could've used your help. But, uhh... now i feel like i need to do some training too, so i could keep up with you- but i'm not gonna pick up a dumbbell, at least not without some help from magic- they're heavy and it hurts--" He stops mid-sentence, seemingly struck by some kind of idea "Hey-! I just finally got a grip on Telekinesis, now it's time to see what it can do! Maybe... i can use it to power up my physical abilities as needed! And i can use that time while i practice to bond more with Geshemblos! since he seemed really good with telekinesis when we fought him."

Action Recap
Action 1: Write down the whole thing with Geshemblos, the obelisk and Lemmy.
Action 2: Try to learn how to use [Telekinesis] to amplify my physical abilities.
Action 3: Try to bond with Geshemblos.

(But seriously, you should be really careful about handing out base stat boosts, Magma. Plus you yourself at first said they can't be changed after being assigned. But if changing base stats is on the table, then i have some plans of my own regarding that. To fix a mistake.)
