Glacies finally gets a break!

Also, congratulations, Vactor. I see now I was way off, since it was just some kind of simple substitution cipher. Is the next one going to be similarly simple (once you find the trick), or will it be devilishly hard again?

Also, Heavy Flak: he's not really happy in that drawing, as such, he's more just... unaffected. Because his mind just isn't entirely inside his head. Unfortunately, it's going to take a bit longer to finish, because some minor computer troubles were exacerbated when I started poking around the inside of my computer while the power was on. (Nothing major, just lost about an hour's worth of work... which I can't really get back... Damnit...)

Granted, but the paradox causes you to disintegrate.

I wish all my assignments were done.

Why all the Uncyclopedia hate?

The pages that I've seen are quite good. Especially Grues and Divide by Zero. And Why Zero Can't Exist.

They're quite informative.  ;D

17.

Mental age is 25.5 ((150*17)/100)

Yeah, I have an IQ of 150. Apparently. I never noticed.

And yeah, it'd be mostly males, although there's more females on here than on the last forum I frequented. It had all of none.

Heh. If they were a little more intelligent, I would never have been so crude.

Unfortunately, they weren't. Anyway, I wasn't commenting on their civility - they're fairly nice (if I'm reading it even remotely correctly), but the spelling, grammar and overall crudeness of the comments warranted my use of that particular word. And it's not one I use lightly, being friends with a few mentally disabled people (seriously, most of them are nice, but I can't stand some of them. I don't care how retarded you are, you don't get to be an asshole to people). Fuckwits I could go without, though (my use of fucktard is a combination of fuckwit and retard, in case you didn't know).

Damn, there's a lot of swearing in this post.

Dang... that video made me sad. Yeah, Spore's pretty crap compared to what it was supposed to be.

I still stand by my point that it would be considered fairly decent if it weren't compared to what was shown there.

Maybe an expansion or three later, it will become somewhat comparable. Until then, I'll still enjoy what I have.

Denied. You gave your wish card back, remember?

I wish Foa had his wish card back.

Interesting...

Still, Cluttergodly the Godly Godly Godly-God sounds pretty cool too.

Woops, yeah, it's Omnomnomnom.

I imagine Omnomnomnom would be like a giant god with the rest of the panthon scattered around his feet. Also, possibly taking the form of a male elf.

Life Advice / Re: Best new browser?
« on: September 14, 2008, 02:06:49 am »
Yup. The biggest problem with IE - and the reason anyone even remotely familiar with the internals of their computer (both hardware and software) hates it - is that it is an (unnecessarily) integrated part of the operating system. You can't uninstall it, it has lower-level access than other browsers, and any attempts to remove it cause Windows to throw up serious errors.

Fucking.
Hate.
IE.

Nope, not a thread about elves. In the dwarf language, om means clutter. Nom means god.

Therefore "Om nom nom" means "Cluttergod the God of Gods".

Just thought you should know.

Q: Is the game worth buying? Is it fun to play? A: NO and NO. The game is so simple and uninspiring only children find it fun and challenging. But in later stages even them can find the game to be very frustrating and unrewarding.

I love this. Not only has the guy contradicted himself, but he's implied that every single person who likes the game must be a child. So, it's easy and completely boring, and yet at the same time it's frustrating? (I'm assuming due to the difficulty.)

There is no problem solving, no strategy or any thrill whatsoever. During the course of your creatures journey, you are reduced to pressing one to four buttons or doing simple tasks repeatedly to proceed. Some people have referred the game as a tool designed to help autistic children.

And this is why I replied. As an autistic myself (albeit a high-functioning autistic), I find his throwaway comment that this game is only good for autistic children extrememly inflammatory. Not only does this imply that the mind of an autistic child is simple (lumping autism together with mental disabilities, which anyone who knew anything about autism would never do), but that all we want is pretty flashing colours to amuse us for hours on end.

Seriously, people, grow up, learn a bit about autism in general, and don't bandy about terms like autism unless you're using them with a great deal of hesitation - even the most experienced doctors are loath to diagnose something as autism until every other option has been exhausted.

I've found some things like nuts, etc. by exploring the wilderness (press 'Space' whilst travelling on the overland map). Also you can sometimes find edible things in dungeons... such as corpses.

Basically, if it's got meat on it or comes from a plant, you can probably eat it.
