"Hah. Speaking honest, I'm more interested in another off-chance encounter with the black mirager than anything else." Abigail grinned, listening in their conversation.

"Still, we could always dress one of us in black and try to provoke them towards us. Good bait for a good hunt."

2
"Unusual biorhythm patterns, huh. Think the mystery mirager is going to be behind this suspected attack as well?" Abigail said, stretching her arms.

"Tch, this time..." But something else caught her attention first. "Wait, you four don't have a name for the team yet? What's the hold up?"

3
"Sure, that sounds good." Abigail replies, placing her hands behind her neck, arching her back slightly.

4
Abigail nods in response to Momiji's comment. The group is clearly above passing grades in terms of coordinations - if that is not directly boycotting each other inadvertently and causing them to roll over. Haruka then joined, causing Abigail to give her a look in acknowledgement. "Mhm. I guess that big of a name has that kind of effect."

"Ring-Ring-Ring. And that's a winner." Abigail mutters, perking up at the mention of noodles. "So, any of you hungry enough to grab something to eat?"

5
Abigail tries her best to give an uninterested glance towards the new team as she gently shook her cup of coffee. Dancing was never the easy part of the job - coordinating one's body in unison with others was a nightmare, let alone coordinate her own with what she wanted to do. It felt... too refined. At least singing came more naturally from her.

"Then I'm scared to know what were the 'worst' newbies have you seen." Abigail muttered, slowly turning her gaze towards Momiji. After letting the thought of her own words echo on her head, Abigail took a long sip of coffee.

"Tch. Too sweet."Slowly standing up, Abigail stretched her arms, feeling the subtle, invigorating cracks of bone against bone. "At least they managed to keep the eyes of most of the public. Most."

6
"Ah, right, that message. How could I forget?" Abigail shakes her head.

"Not sure if you've been told anything more about our base, but they say everyone made it out A-OK. Everyone and all of our stuff."

"Damn it, why did I speed down the stairs for now? What was it?" Abigail sighed. "Thanks, Beat."

"Uh, sure." Abigail absentmindedly replied, taking a moment to breathe some air. "A seat on her table? Tch. Unless she's offering to pay, I don't see what the big deal is."

"Now hold on a moment though - how come you all are here?"

TAP TAP TAP TAP

The hurried steps of Abigail came down to a halt upon reaching the end of the staircase. Air was hardly making its way towards her lungs, and she let herself sit back onto the floor.

"... Agh..." She wheezed, shaking her head as she attempted to quell her heartbeat.

But while trying to do so, she heard a painfully familiar yell."... Oh." Abigail coughed, trying to bring Siren's attention to herself, shoving herself off the stairs and walking towards EUFON's group.

"D-do they have good coffee? Abigail gently nudged her neck trying to calm down. "I wouldn't mind getting some more - hell, something to eat doesn't sound half-wrong either."

10
" . . . "

Abigail stopped on her tracks, such news having put her on edge, her hand clenching Conquest's bow with force - as if called in by the grim news.

"This is what happens when you don't finish the job. It always comes back to bite you."

"Tch. Figures." After an aggressive retort, Abigail takes a deep breath and shakes her head, attempting to quell the burning sensation that was starting to itch her chest - as if the pendant, the relic itself, wanted to break out.

"... I'll go on ahead." Abigail then passed around Javier, bolting her way out of the room. Her gaze was only focused forwards as she ran two stairs down at a time, jumping at the end of each segment, as she pulled out her phone, hesitatingly. "I need to get in touch with someone from EUFON. What the hell is this all about?"

"..."

Abigail keeps dashing down the stairs.

11
"Woah, woah, woah. Hold on. 'Neighbours'? The hell you mean? Don't we have an okay base already?"

Abigail squints at Javier. "Did they bust a pipe? It can't be that major, can it?"

12
"All of us? Yeah, that doesn't sound good." Abigail sheepishly stood up from the chair, arching her back, feeling slightly annoyed.

"If the answer to 'did something wrong happen' is 'Maybe', I'd rather brace for whatever shit pulled up."

"Well then, let's get going."

13
"You're still going to be dead, right?" Abigail fixed her posture before turning around in the chair.

After a couple seconds of silence, Abigail slouches back on the chair, crossing her legs. "Whether she kills you once or twice, it won't make you less dead."

14
Abigail stopped mid-spin, facing away from the rest. "Yeah, that's surprising at times."

She then chuckled as she leant backwards, looking at the other idols upside down. "And I'm supposed to be the threatening one. Wonder how she does it."

15
"Put spikes all over it, then. Can you really go wrong with making your dress a walking safety liability?" Abigail smirked, twisting and turning with the chair, swinging slowly with each spin.
